Such a great recap podcast just the right amount of detail and they’re so funny!

This is such a great podcast. I’ve really enjoyed all the things I missed in my viewings. You all should do a Buffy podcast!

Binging Veronica Mars for the first time!! Love this pod!!

So I love your podcast but, rewatching Veronica mars. I noticed something about your namesake. In the first episode, backup is white with brown spots, however, later on in the series, backup is full brown. . . . . .🤔🤔🤔

These girls crack me up! It's been so fun listening to them, I catch myself laughing out loud often. Great commentary and ovservations, so glad I ran into them.

They are fun and funny, but they decided to start saying spoilers, with no warning, at 3.18. So, as a first-time viewer, I had to stop listening. Obviously there’s nothing wrong with doing a spoiler podcast if you want to discuss episodes in the larger context, but I think it’s just wrong to suddenly switch to that mode without warning after advertising yourself as spoiler-free.

On episode 4 and I love it! So funny and cute!!

I feel like the hosts miss a lot of subtle things that happen in certain episodes. Of course, as a listener, I might disagree with some of their opinions as well. I also think they miss a huge component of being trauma informed when it comes to Veronica, her choices, and how she self-protects. I know at the end of the day, it is just a TV show and it doesn’t have to be that deep. But, the show really does offer a lot of layers for analysis— it would’ve been nice if they could’ve had— maybe episodes where another fan guested with them, to get another perspective.😊

Doing (another) VM rewatch and I’m glad I found this podcast to accompany it. Meg and Sam have genuine love and tenderness for the series, and they offer balanced insight and humor. Just great 😊

I’ve tried other VM podcasts and they weren’t as good. I felt like other podcasts just recap what happens and then move on to the next scene without them discussing how they feel. Especially big iconic VM scenes. I love how this podcast digs in to every episode and discuss all the tiny details. You can really tell they love the show but aren’t afraid to call it out either. I hope these two do other podcasts together. Maybe a Buffy one? I know there are tons of Buffy ones but they would be perfect for it! Anyways, I love this podcast and if you are a VM fan don’t miss out on this!!!

I love the 2 ladies that host the show, they are so witty and silly! I relate to them on many levels, not just our love for VMars. I’ve tried other podcasts on Veronica Mars, and none of them are as good.

This podcast has gotten me through this pandemic, truly. I get so excited when I see a new show drops. They have a great balance of loving the show while looking at it critically from a 2021 perspective.

podcast where people who think they are good at talking can rarely get through a sentence without saying “like” one to several times. Constant giggling followed by explosions of raucous laughter never gets old, either.

These ladies do it perfectly. I listen to another VM podcast where the hosts are actually getting paid/do it for a job and they don’t even come close to Bring Backup. I’m going to be genuinely sad when the finish up the third season. I hope that whatever they do next is something I watch!

Tried a bunch of other Veronica Mars pods before I found Bring Backup. But it was worth the search. Rewatching with Sam and Meg is so fun. Their laughter and joy from experiencing the series and hanging out together is infectious- you can’t help but enjoy yourself! “Donut”pass this up!! Have recommended to all my V friends.

I wanted to update my review because this has honestly become one of my favorite podcasts. I rewatched the whole show before watching season 4. I listened to the season 1 podcasts after every episode and the same for season 4. Since then I’ve still listened along even though I’m not currently watching along. This is one of the podcasts I look forward to most when a new episode comes out. I love the hosts chemistry, personalities, and the fun they have together. I love Sam’s laugh and Meg’s often deadpan delivery of “oh. mygod.” or some other dramatic exclamation. I’m glad they call out some of the problematic lines or plot lines when they occur but they can still love the show as a whole. I know they’ve talked about covering another show when they finish this one. I really hope they do so I can keep them as a part of my podcast life. Thanks for spending your time to make our lives more enjoyable.

Not only are Sam and Meg amazing, but I love having some Veronica Mars discourse in my life!

Love the show and love the two hosts! They have voices that are great to listen to and they’re conversations are how I would want to talk with a friend about Veronica Mars :) Only downfall is that they don’t do recap episodes, which is really just me complaining that they don’t more content because I love what they put out so much!!

I love this pod! I don’t write reviews but I had to for this one. I love Veronica Mars and the added bonus is the BUFFY WATCH which I also looooove. The amount of things they reference that I absolutely love is incredible. I found my people. Listening makes me soooo happy I lol all the time every episode. The hosts are true BFFs and sound like they are having so much fun together. I feel like I need to find them so we can be friends ...(a long time ago?)

I found this podcast because of the Buffering the Vampire Slayer podcast Facebook group. Ironically, I started watching Buffy after Veronica Mars, because I needed to fill the Veronica size hole in my heart and now Buffy has brought me back to Veronica. ❤️

I like that the hosts poke fun at the episodes, but also have some conflicting opinions about certain aspects of the show. Keeps it interesting. Looking forward to listening to more!

This podcast is AMAZING! As a fellow marshmallow I have already been rewatching the episodes to prepare for season 4. Meg and Sam really break the episodes down and give you so much to think about- all while keeping you laughing. Hands down best podcast I have listened to in a while.
