Today we are studying the twelfth chapter of the gospel of Mark. Our focus today is on verses 28-34. Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." What does it mean to love the Lord?

James and John decided to ask Jesus a bold question. They desired to be great. They each wanted a place of prominence. They said, "Let one of us sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom." We all have a desire to be great. Many are looking for power and influence. Let us talk about how to become great in the kingdom of God.
