American Library Association defines information literacy as "a set of abilities requiring individuals to 'recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information.'  This type of literacy requires critical thinking and evaluation skills. In this podcast, we aim to have humble, honest discussions about information literacy and what it means to live in a world that profits from inequality, division, and misinformation. We believe that information literacy is the cornerstone of democracy.
