This week Sunny sits down with friend, fellow Global Shaper and Man Caver Daniel Datnow-Jamieson (DJ).

DJ has had quite an interesting period growing up through high school, which has turned him into the man he is today. He uses his story not only to inspire and empower people but is passionate about connecting to our authentic selves.

We touch on a number of different areas of DJ's life in this conversation, including:

  • Uncovering the work of The Man Cave and his motivation for getting involved and helping young kids across Australia
  • Navigating the move between 3 different high schools (including experiences between co-educational and single-sex schools)
  • Delving into the experiences of bullying and racism (antisemitism) through high school
  • Finding community and purpose through shared experiences in the creative space, including his involvement in the music industry and dance scene (DJ is a DJ himself)
  • Adaption and the way that impacts and benefits our life
  • Dopamine, intentionalism and designing the life you want to live (including how to balance social media)
  • Overcoming Social Anxiety and becoming confident with others, following the bullying he experienced when younger (spoiler: includes some juicy stories from Revolver Upstairs aka Revs)
