回到台北快一年的蕾蕾，再度遇上了因疫情而造成的「停課不停學」。來聽聽她和她可愛的民族國小三年一班同學們，怎麼進行第一場有點手忙腳亂的網路課！ Lena's been back to Taipei, Taiwan for almost a year!  She loves MinZu Elementary School so much -- the school, the principal, the teachers, and her lovely 301 classmates!  It's a bit sad that Taiwan started epidemic alert level 3 island-wide from this week.  That said, Lena, like other kids, are required to stay home and switch to remote learning.  Let's check it out how her 301 classmates experienced the 1st-ever on-line class!   

蕾蕾分享她在美國上課時午餐吃些什麼？做些什麼？她還有一些小建議給要去美國念小學的小朋友喔！ In this episode, Lena shares what she experienced during lunch time in the American school-- food, issues, conversations, and laughters!  

蕾蕾分享她在美國小學三年級學直笛的心路歷程，從一開始的挫折到後來的晉級，她是怎麼辦到的呢？ Lena shared how she learned to play recorder.  She kept blowing squeaky sounds at the beginning and felt embarrassed to perform in front of the class...She cried so loud that even the whole school could hear it...How did she overcome it and earned her belts finally?

2020年的三月美國爆發新冠病毒疫情，一夕間學校關閉，蕾蕾再也不能去上學，只能藉由網路跟同學上課，就這樣到學期結束。很可惜無法跟同學、老師當面好好說再見，所以蕾蕾要藉由這一集感謝她的老師跟同學，謝謝他們每個人豐富了她過去這一年的美國生活！ It's so sad that Lena couldn't say proper goodbyes to her beloved classmates and teachers, because the school has been closed since March throughout the end of this school year.  So, she's using this episode to express her appreciation to these friends.  Thank you 3S and Driscoll!  Everyone of you is part of Lena's American adventure during this 2019-2020 and you enrich her memory.  We are grateful!  Hope to see you soon!

美國小學的同樂會主題總是出其不意，別出心裁，從睡衣趴到慶祝學期過了一半的「半趴」等等，讓蕾蕾對上學充滿期待.. Lena's going to miss those creative class celebrations: PJ Days, Movie Days, Fort Day, and Half-way Day...She's proud of those celebrations, because she and classmates earned a jar of gems to earn these treats!!

美國老師讓學生藉由扮演真實歷史的角色身歷其境，作業是讓學生查詢更多史實....難怪蕾蕾記得這麼清楚！！ Lena shares the way they learned about Mayflower. She played the role Sarah Eaton, one of 102 passengers on the ship, and researched the background of her family and the daily life happening through that historic trip.

蕾蕾學校的圖書館老師除了講故事，還會辦書展跟有趣的活動讓小朋友喜歡閱讀！還有還有....蕾蕾參加圖書館抽獎，得到了她夢寐以求的平板電腦！ Ms. Reid is the librarian at Lena's school. She is amazing in many ways!! She reads stories every week to the kids, and organizes tons of fun activities, like book fairs, mock Caldecott Award committee, author's visits, etc. for kids to enjoy reading. Oh...one more thing, Lena won a raffling prize--a Kindle, from the public library!

蕾蕾認為在美國交朋友最容易的地方就是學校的遊戲場了！這一集裡頭，她除了分享遊戲場玩耍、交朋友的經驗，也鼓勵小朋友遇到不開心的時候，一定要勇敢說出來！ Lena comments the playground at the school is the place she likes to hang out with friends. She shares what's fun there, how to make friends, and encourages kids to speak up when being pushed or bullied! 

蕾蕾分享美國小學每週一次的朝會，還空中獻唱一曲喔！ Lena shares what's like to host a community meeting in the American school. She also sings a song...Enjoy it!

上學沒多久，蕾蕾就一直告訴媽媽美國教室的椅子坐起來好舒服，屁股不會有卡卡的感覺....Why? Lena talks about the chair, the rug area, the seat arrangement in the United States's classroom!
