I loved hearing the story of how old man &lsquo;Spike&rsquo; took on the Governments recommendation for farmers to &lsquo;diversify&rsquo; and so transformed his remote Kimberley farm into &lsquo;The Hoochery&rsquo;.
Years later the business is run by his daughter and granddaughter and their rum can be found in major liquor stores all across Australia.
