Family Worship W/ Kylie Elyse
Today is a bonus episode with my wife Kylie Esch. She joined me today to talk about Family Worship. We discuss how to read the Bible, teach the Bible, pray the Bible, and sing the Bible as a family. Some of this might be very new for some of you so we talk about good and healthy strategies to keep up with it.

Bible Timeline Series: Canaan & Judges
In this episode we will be talking about how God and Moses set up the new leader of the Israelites to be Joshua. In the book of Joshua, we see that God begins with baptizing His people by parting the Jordan River, having them remember the promises that God has given to the tribes through circumcision (which had been neglected) and Passover.  After the Israelites are reminded that God has and will always be faithful to His people, they attack the city of Jericho and begin their long battles of clearing the Canaanites out of the land of Canaan. The book ends with the tribes being split up and given different lands and no specific leader is ordained. The Israelites are largely spread out and ruled by elders and priests.  These leaders are not strong and they rebelled against God, so God sends Canaanites to rule over them. The people cry out and God sends Judges to save them. In this episode we talk about the different Judges and how they execute judgement on behalf of God. These judges spiral with the people of God out of control. The end of Judges ends with just a disgusting story. Some of this podcast is not suitable for young children. There are parts of Judges that are very graphic and I thought it was necessary to cover those stories. I hope this podcast is edifying to you.

Bible Timeline Series: Exodus
This 4th installment of the Bibletime line Series starts 400 years after Israel entered into Egypt to be saved from the famine. They stayed there and became slaves. Pharaoh is murdering the Israelite children and one is saved. His name is Moses. Moses will lead God's people out of Egypt and to the promised land. On there way they receive the law (moral, ceremonial, and judical). The law was a means of sanctification, not of salvation, because God's people had already been saved. Throughout God giving the law to Moses and moving towards the promised land there is a constant rebellion from God's people. In this podcast, we cover Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deutormony.  If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please contact me through facebook, instagram or through the anchor app by sending a voice message.

Which Person of the Trinity was in the Garden with Adam and Eve?
We had our first caller call in with a question about the garden story from the first episode of the Bible Timeline Series. Ben calls in and asked, "Did the Holy Spirit or the Pre-Incarnated Christ call out to Adam after he had sinned?" If you are interested in leaving a question you can reach out to Boring Theology on Instagram or Facebook pages, Michael Esch on Twitter, or to leave a voicemail, like Ben, you can click the link below.  https://anchor.fm/boringtheology/message
