He was very much loved and famous actor known for his portrayal of Kings and emperors' roles on the big screen in Hindi cinema.  From 1950s to 1960s, there was no other actor of his caliber who could portray royal emperor roles as convincingly than him. His charm remained until 1990s. But he died a lonely and as a recluse
