He had groundbreaking debut in his 1981 film Love Story. He acted in number of films like Naam, Star, Teri Kasam, Lovers, All Rounder, Kaante and many others. Other actors reaped the benefits of these films. Kumar Gaurav never even came near the success of his first film.
