Any nobody board game reviewer that trashes consistently trashes some of the best reviewed designers out there can kick rocks. Pass.

It’s not a podcast about board games, per se. It’s more a podcast where the conversations are the stuff you would talk about while playing board games. They seem to be really hung up on this listener named Ryan, and specifically his Adonis-like calves. But seriously, it’s a solid show with uniquely engaging personalities and they talk just enough about board games to justify the title. You should definitely check out a couple of episodes

Review 100! This is my favorite podcast of all time, mainly because of the community they have cultivated around the show. I don’t even care that they don’t talk much about board games. Never change, friends.

An elite board game podcast from the Three Stooges of board gaming. Most definitely the best boardgame podcast in the history of the world.

I wrote a much longer, incredibly articulate review and Apple ate it, I guess. Anyway, I can’t even listen to other board game podcasts any more because these guys have spoiled me. All those other podcasts try to stuff my head with so-called “useful” information. I have enough of that in my head already, thanks. Listening to these fellows is like playing games and drinking with your funny smart friends and talking about whatever dang thing comes into your head. Sometimes it’s games, sometimes it’s Kevin Costner, sometimes it’s hermorrhoids. And that’s FINE.

They bring me joy.

This is a “drop everything and listen” podcast for me. They may be 90% banter and 10% board games, but I come for the banter. These guys are irreverent and silly but can also dig into the occasional serious topic like nueurodiversity or depression and talk about it in a thoughtful, informed manner, while still making me laugh.

Love the podcast! The topics, board game related or not, are wonderful and hilarious. Puns and references are so good. When’s that discord channel coming? Would love the chat room like platform to interact with the BGS community.

I discovered this podcast sometime in 2020, and I went back and listed to all the episodes from the beginning. (I’ve never done that with any other podcast ever!) Gaby and Jerry are great fun to listen to, and they are able to effortlessly riff on all kinds of random topics as they come up. This is a “board game podcast”, but that’s not REALLY the focus. Come for the banter and enjoy a little board gaming content while you’re at it.

Gaby and Jerry are hilarious. Usually a comedy duo needs a comic and dead pan to mesh well. These fellas are the exception to that rule. What I love about this podcast is that they aren’t afraid to stray from board games. The banter at the start of each episode is usually hysterical. The opinions are honest and transparent, especially when Jerry is drinking. This is just two buddies having fun together and bringing the audience along for the ride. The interaction with fans on social media adds to the enjoyment. If you like board games and you like puns, you will love the Board Game Snobs

Pretty unbearable to listen to.

Easily my second favorite board game podcast. Dan Hughes is a mighty titan not be bested. But I digress. The snobs bring a unique flavor to the crowded bird game podcast scene. They talk about bird games and you will know pretty quickly where their interests lie. But they give it to you straight without pulling punches. Every. Single. Time. And they do it with wit and humor that is unmatched. You will laugh from start to finish as you watch two friends who you know can’t easily be torn apart jump from one topic to the next. It’s fascinating stuff. Enrique is there too.

These guys are funny and give great, honest thoughts, on board games.

One of the other reviews compares this podcast to Waterworld, which must be accurate because I love that movie. These guys talk about board games and generally have good takes on games and the hobby, but more importantly, they have great chemistry and funny banter, and their humor really resonates with me. Also, far superior production quality compared to some board game podcasts I have listened to. Keep up the good work!

Epic in scope and vision yet financially disastrous at the box office, Board Game Snobs is the Waterworld of tabletop podcasts. You won’t be able to look away. The last resort when you’ve grown bored of all the the other board game content. Like a Postman delivering a letter from a friend every week.

I can't even explain why I love this podcast so much. I do a retro video game podcast with my best friend (Retro Blissed) and just started a board game podcast (Cardboard Bliss). I shamelessly plug just to say I'm now seriously considering ending both my shows, because what's the point when these guys do everything I could ever want in a podcast? I mean their opinions are waaaay off on some games, but I don't even care. More fun than a business of ferrets.

I don’t know why I liked listening to this podcast. I’ve only listened to one episode (29) and it was everything I don’t want in a board game podcast. At least I thought? For some reason, that I’ll attempt to explain, I found them to be quite entertaining. I appreciated there lack of care when it comes to the production of their show. It felt real, casual and refreshingly honest. It wasn’t two dudes awkwardly talking about board games just because they like board games or because they want to be the next big BG podcast. Rather, It was two good friends talking about board games and whatever else came up organically (in episode 29’s case, squirrels) through conversation. This is not the podcast for you if you’re looking for quick, straight to the point reviews, news or other board game related information. That said, If you’re looking for something board game related to kill the time while allowing you to feel like you’re hanging out with some cool people talking about games you love/hate, based on the episode I listened to, I’d recommend this podcast.

I really like this podcast because the discussion is interesting and diverse. It’s clear that everyone loves the hobby and enjoys talking about games. I appreciate the casual format and it makes the podcast more entertaining. Run your show like no one is listening and the content becomes much more authentic and more importantly fun! Thanks guys. Informative yet entertaining! Board games are the primary topic discussed but they don’t stop there! Good whiskey, the animal kingdom and life are all fair game as well.

I recently discovered the Board Game Snobs podcast, and I love it. Gaby and Jerry are a great team that talk about board games with an easy and extremely humorous style. Listening to them is like talking to your friends about games after a game night. Love their style, love what they talk about, love the banter. Makes me want to seek them out some day at a con to play games with them. Keep up the great work.

Lately, I've been searching for something a little different in the board game review catagory. These guys did great on their debut podcast: not too short or too long. Great content. These two love the games they review, super informative, and for me, spot on with the right amount of critical wiggle room. I can't wait for next one! I expect it to be even better. I went out and actually played one of the games reviewed. Totally worth it. Checked out the website and it all came together. Offically a Board Game Snob now.
