Disappointed and dismayed
I gave this podcast a try because it advertised itself as a cryptozoology podcast. It is not a cryptozoology podcast. It is a religious podcast with a cryptozoological angle, and it was honestly shocking how quickly Christian theological ideas were being shoved onto center stage. Beyond that, one of the early episodes contained an interview with someone claiming COVID was a hoax- this was supposed to be discussions of /science/, not the blathering of people who can’t understand how germs work. Would not recommend.

i tried
i love fringe podcasts and interview based podcasts but my god do they take the religious stuff too far one episode a man basically fear bated the end of the world and reality was far from his reach as he discredited real scientific evidence and labeled everything as demonic and satanic and i feel that it can be harmful but that's just me

Love the Blurryverse 👊
A co-worker sent me an episode thinking I would like it. The Red Heifer one. I was skeptical because he’s sent me others that were good, but a little to ‘out there’. I’ve listened to about a dozen episodes and I LOVE the show. Chuck Missler is a big inspiration and I was happy when his name was mentioned. I’m digging into the older episodes… Stay Blurry. 💀’s and🌈’s- W. James Anderson

Can’t stop
Can’t stop listening. I’m so amazed by the blurryverse.

If not now, then when!
You start this show and you think this will be cool, something different than what I usually listen to. Well talk about mind blown, this podcast is my top suggested, this show is a blessing! The show and the guests will bless you if you let them.

Amazing Podcast
This is the only podcast I watch. I have always been interested in these strange topics. Bigfoot brought me into the blurryverse. I talk to my friends at my school about dogman(my friend brought it up), Nephilim, Bigfoot, and so much more.

From a non podcast listener
I don’t listen to podcasts. Never have been able to. But these guys hold my attention. They’ve been playing nonstop in my downtime the last 2 days. I can’t stop!

Awesome
Pretty cool podcast

Blurry love!
I started with episode 1 last Spring (2023) and just finished the latest episode today. This show is addicting in the best possible way! I’ve always been a fan of the unexplainable, but my love for God and his Word has grown exponentially because of Blurry Creatures! Thank you for challenging the “status quo American church’s” stance on all things Biblical and asking thought provoking questions to the top experts in all of these crazy-cool fields! Now I’ve gotta jump on the member train to unlock everything I haven’t been able to listen too yet! 👍🏼

“I Am” home
It took me a few months but I finished listening to every single episode. All I can say is Nate and Luke, you are my “Peeps “. Apparently I was not alone either. You guys are leaving everything on the field. Every episode you let your guests say what they believe and you are respectful and kind. That is awesome and I am so proud of you guys. Congrats
Cracked the code
Started from the beginning
Slow roll through from the start- totally enjoy! I guess I’ll have to throw down some cash!

Obsessed!
I first heard about you from “Confessions Of A Crappy Christian”. I’d been listening to a ton of true crime and as a Christian I thought I needed something a bit more edifying. Well….here I am…started from episode one as suggested and currently on episode 28. I specifically wanted to leave a review to say that I love when you guys go to the Bible side of things. So much of what I’m hearing is resonating with inklings I’ve had in studying the Bible over the years. I love that you guys are tackling this. Totally hooked.

Truth in the word
Very entertaining, not a snooze- Ville podcast… very different, basic talk about everything that is great, with just enough of the bible, that makes since with the life we are living in….!!!

Thought provoking and mind blowing
1 star reviews are from close minded people that can’t stand to hear anything other than what they want to hear and swallowed the blue pill.

THANK YOU!
I was introduced to you guys thru Ninjas are Butterflies and man am I thankful! I’ve been binging and have 43 episodes left to catch up! Every episode is an eye opener, things are no longer so blurry! I thoroughly enjoy the Blurryverse and thank God for allowing me to finally see! Words cannot describe how much I needed Blurry Creatures in my life, again THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS

Newcomer
A friend told me about you guys a month or so ago. I’m about 50 podcasts in and I love it. As a believer in both God and the natural/supernatural world, it really stands out to me. I’m about an hour west of you guys, from a place named after the “Indian” mounds. We’ve seen and heard our fair share out here! I’ll be caught up eventually but for now, I’m loving the blurry creatures and Bible talk, keep it up!

Joel
Ask Joel if he would ever take the naked Bible podcast over. He seems like the perfect fit to fill the gap left from heiser. Heiser opened up all this for many of us. I love your show and thank you.

Not very good
Too much small talk and fluff

Fun but Uncritical
Lacks critical thinking and is in danger of leading faithful Christians into fringe beliefs. Can be fun to listen to, but not for any trustworthy examination of the supernatural and paranormal. I recommend Jimmy Akin’s Mysterious World for sound theology and critical thinking while addressing these kinds of topics.

So intriguing!
This has fast become my favorite podcast! Bigfoot really is the gateway drug, pretty soon you’ll be kicking around some deep end of the pool ideas and topics. I love the music and 80’s references and the guests you guys host! Keep up the good work, I appreciate the time you put in to create this amazing content!

Hosts talk too much
I love a lot of the blurry guests, but the hosts are generational yappers. They seem to be incapable of just asking their questions and listening. They take 5 mins to ask each question and talk in circles. Some of the guests are good and some are definitely insane.

Fantastic “Off the Beaten Christian Trail” Show
Really should be a Bible study with notes from podcast and guests - maybe consider that. Love the show
Texas Andy

Love the biblical POV and appreciate the room the hosts give to all their guests. Kind conversations.

Love it all - faith and blurry creatures.
Love the content and the hosts. I appreciate the faith aspect. Keep it coming.

Best podcast ever!
The Laura Sanger episodes you guys host have changed my life. WOW! Everything is amazing but those are opening up dimensions.

New Agers Will Feel Right At Home
We don’t ask The Lord what frequency do we use. We ask Him for help, and leave it to Him. By asking for which frequency do we use, we are the ones supposedly doing it. Leaving our body? Astral projection. New Age deception folks. Be not deceived. Intentionally deceptive.
NativeTexican
Host ramble on too much
When the show first started they allowed their guest to speak more. As the show has gotten older they don’t allow their guest to speak as much.

Love this show!
Thank you Nate and Luke for being willing to talk about topics that are usually brushed aside in the church!

Hosts Don’t Practice Discernment
As a Christian, I really wanted to get into this show. Of the few episodes I first listened to, they had some sound guests (Michael Heiser, Pitterson). Next thing you know I’m listening to guests that come across as unreliable, not credible, and I’m doubting what they’re saying the entire time (EP: 172 - Richie the Barber; also the Hitler Project episode). From what I gathered from other negative reviews, apparently they bring in guests with unsound biblical theology as well and give them a platform to repeat their unsound theology. I just don’t understand how they can go from sound and credible guests to unhinged guests that just don’t come across as credible. I wish the hosts would practice discernment in filtering who gets brought on as a guest so that I wouldn’t have to practice so much discernment with every episode I listen to. At this point I don’t even want to listen anymore because of the amount of effort it takes to consciously discern if the guests’ accounts of reality are reliable and if their theology being presented is biblical. I could expect this from a non-Christian podcast, but as Christian hosts, you guys need to be doing better. This is disappointing.

Incredible!
Love this podcast, thankful to find a group of people who are interested in carrying on topics from Dr. Heiser. Fun to see them get such a wide range of topics, can’t stop listening!

Just ok
The hosts seem to believe in everything no matter how bizarre. They come across as extremely gullible. There are better podcasts on these topics that are more well produced. Haunted Cosmos for example.

Mind-blowing
By far one of the most interesting, thought-provoking, and entertaining podcasts I have ever listened to!

While I don’t agree with everything, it is super encouraging to hear two Christian brothers, who are also fellow 80s kids, talk seriously (kind of) about the strangest things impressed upon human experience. Drive on.

This is a very good podcast!
You should do a episode on the grafton monster really cool stuff

Great Interviews

Enneagram 1 Here
lol one episode they said they thought Enneagram 1s wouldn’t be into this. Totally into it. Thinking about the supernatural has strengthen my faith. It makes sense of the things in faith that have been so difficult to wrap my mind around. So many things I’m just “I don’t understand how that works. Oh well, my mind is too dumb.” But realizing just how little we all really understand and how wildly supernatural our planet, history, and faith is has really opened new understanding of my personal faith. I’m late to game on listening and I’m only on episode 17. But I can’t stop listening.

Awesome platform
Love that you guys have this platform for us to be able to speak our true experiences and not worry about the mocking of others. Keep up your great work. RAY

Love it
Thank you for doing this and opening up this conversation-I love all of the stories and you guys get the most interesting guests in this show. I’ve always been a Squatch believer and want to go on an expedition some day! Glad my friend (at church) turned me on to this! And also, after listening now to almost 60 episodes-(I started late but started at the beginning so I’m honestly at least a year behind!) but so praying for you as I am sure the warfare you may have experienced is very real and probably pretty intense. Love you both and hope for continued success in this endeavor and in your lives overall.

Praying for you
I began listening about a month ago. I just finished listening to episode 44, with Dr. Gregory Reid. You guys are officially in the battle… …and you need support! I have added you to my daily prayer list. (As a Catholic, I have some thoughts, (and questions), about the extent of corruption in that institution—to be addressed in another message)

Love these guys! Diverse guests from legitimate biblical scholars to the biblical ‘bonkers’ brigade.
Love these guys! They keep an open mind & dare to challenge lazy Christian assumptions (or at the very least, listen to alternative ideas). Diverse guests from legitimate biblical scholars to the biblically ‘bonkers’. It doesn’t matter, they ask the silly questions so we don’t have to. The best part is - they know they don’t have a clue but are in the genuine pursuit of truth. Thank you, fellas! Keep it up :-)

Not biblically sound
The early episodes are interesting, but should be taken with a grain of salt. The hosts do not question any unorthodox doctrine and seem to give as much weight (if not more) to The Book of Enoch, as they give the Bible. Haunted Cosmos is a much better podcast for Christians interested in the “blurryverse”.

UFOS being real was not on my 2023 bingo
or Bigfoot, or that giants ever lived or still roam the earth now… I grew up in a home filled with love and the name of Jesus. I knew who He was and I knew there was evil & darkness around the world. but my entire worldview has shifted - it’s dramatic but this podcast has changed my life late 2023. it’s changed the way I love my husband and my children - the conversations we have now are different. the blurry boys aren’t sharing new revelations- they are pulling back the curtains that have been so cleverly covering the truths right before our eyes. I think that’s been the biggest thing to me with this podcast is the humility & honesty nate & luke bring - it’s obvious that their obedience has allowed Jesus to take the blurry wheels and drive the ship. He wants to keep changing our lives & bring us deep into this crazy beautiful life he has us in. just come get blurry y’all - once you do you don’t want to ever come back! Nate & Luke - thank you for your steadfast obedience when you thought it was just going to be fun to talk about Bigfoot 🧡

Nephilim = my gateway drug
Nate and Luke- Awesome show! I know you guys call Bigfoot the gateway drug, but for me, the Nephilim was the gateway drug. I listened to your podcast with Allie Beth Stuckey on her show and decided to listen to "Blurry Creatures." I have gotten through episode 10, and wow, those "Sierra Sounds" on episode 10 gave me the creeps. I look forward to listening to episode 11, hearing more about the giants and probably the Nephilim.

The shape of the earth is not Blurry.
Love the show, Nate and Luke doing a great job with all the episodes here… I’m a flat earther or as we call it; true earth, or biblical earth. read Psalm 19, Genesis 1, and 100s of other passages in the Bible that tell us that the Earth is a non-rotating stationary plane. Love it. Keep it up.
