Have you ever made a BFF at a beauty school and thought "wouldn't it be sooo cool to open up a shop with my new bff that I made at beauty school because we both just love to do beauty stuff and we get along so great right now?" said no one ever! 9/10 times the friendship ends up on bad terms, someone always will go more above and beyond, one of you will have business booming and one will start to be a hater and have resentment.. so our advice is just don't. We are begging you to open a spot on your own and be financially and business ready!

If you get hating ass comments- you can tell your mama you made it 🙌 but only after you second think your life existence, career and cry it out in the car. Part of owning a business is having a social media platform. Some spread love with it and some spread hate. The right thing can get taken out of context and all of a sudden everyone is a doctor, a hairstylist or a professional chef with their opinion that no one asked for, a hating ass comment at that. We got to just see past those nasty comments and do what we do best. Whatever that is (hopefully positive stuff) because at the end of the day - those negative comments are coming from people who have a miserable life. Try not to feed into or allow their fears and negative spirit affect you. The right people will continue to support your business 🫶

The line that continues to be drawn ✏️and somehow is invisible to some. Boundaries is something to establish from the start of your business to have new clients understand policies. Having mutual respect for someone’s time and money in the business industry is very important. However you set boundaries/policies wether it be taking 💵 deposits, 💳card on file, 📝contracts or a solid 🤝handshake stick to them and watch you sort out the red flags from the green ones. Not having boundaries can affect the business and your mental health😵‍💫 in the long run.. and let’s be honest. We’re all adults! We don’t have time for all that nonsense! Respect over money.
