This podcast is a family favorite! We love the attention to details, factual reporting, and the narration keeps us all engaged from start to finish! Bring on season 3 ASAP!!!!

This podcast is so good. Engaging, well researched and thought provoking. The cases are really interesting, even if you’re already familiar with them. I really think season 2 should be one case. This podcaster seems capable of doing the deep research and going the distance for good interviews.

Blood trails is a complete, well researched, and produced podcast for anyone who likes podcasts. You do not need to be an avid hunter to enjoy. It is evident that the amount of time and effort put into each episode is equal to the older established true crime series, and Blood Trails will be shortly up at the top of the list with those others. Well done.

This is the best podcast that I’ve listened to in a long time. Thank you and hope you continue for many more episodes.

I have never hunted and couldn’t fish my way out of a paper bag, but I am most definitely a true crime fanatic and this is a great show! Interesting content, told in an engaging and no-nonsense way. Good work!

I’m addicted to this podcast - the cases are extremely interesting and the narration is fantastic. I’ve listened to every episode at least twice; hyped for the next season!

I don’t usually like true crime, but I have enjoyed all of them. I think it is because they all involve the outdoors or hunting that makes them more interesting. Sometimes I listen on long hikes and then feel a little spooked 🫣 They are well-researched and unpack the case thoughtfully. Please create another season!

For anyone who like the outdoors and also true crime this is for you. But where are new stories? Last one was almost 3 months ago….

One of the best new true crime podcasts that I’ve listened to in a long time. Great voice, great storytelling.. I was hooked from the first episode. I don’t want to listen to all the episodes yet because I don’t want this podcast to end.. Fingers crossed there is a season 2.

Listened to an episode during the 2-hour drive to & from our hunting spot throughout this deer season. I just finished the last episode as the season nears the end, and wow… not only have these been captivating stories, but they’ve also made me reflect on hunting safety, community, and life in general. While hunting-specific information is in the details of each episode, I would also recommend Blood Trails to anyone who listens to true crime. Jordan Sillars has done a commendable job of telling these people’s stories, while still being respectful to their families. I’m looking forward to any updates, as well as the new season.

You guys have really outdone yourselves with this one! Such a thorough and well produced podcast! I listen to so many and these episodes have been by far my favorite in the last couple of years of listening! Looking forward to new episodes in the spring! No small talk. Straight forward reporting. Like a breath of fresh air from your run of the mill true crime talk fest.The woods as the scene of the crimes only adds to the podcast’s allure.

The amount of police interviews and the overall thoroughness that Jordan gives is what makes this podcast worth it! I was not looking for a True Crime podcast, just enjoying MeatEater content, but I am sure glad to have found this!

The Aaron Hedges episode really sold this podcast for me. I had seen several videos about his disappearance and death in the Crazies, but none of those covered details that Jordan covered. The background into Hedges was something that YouTube videos, some over an hour long, had never mentioned. The level of detail and commitment to portraying all sides of the story is unmatched.

I am an avid listener of true crime podcasts and I’m so glad i stumbled across this one. It’s one of the best podcasts I’ve heard true crime. It ticks every single box for me. Story telling is great, the background music, the single narrator, interesting stories, perfect amount of real life recordings… keep it up. I would love to hear you do an investigative long form podcast.

Very well put together. You can tell Jordan truly cares about each one of these cases by how thorough his investigations are. Make a guy think when he enters the woods for any reason.

I am a longtime listener to MeatEater and really enjoy this new show. The episodes are well but together and easy to listen to. If you like true crime and the outdoors, you need to give this show a chance.

Great podcast, also i shot a 6 pointer with my bow in new york on the 7th while listening to this to pass the time💪🏻

This is thee best podcast that MeatEater offers in its lineup of many podcasts. I wish this had been out longer but you know what it’s out now and I cannot wait for each new episode to drop. I hope that they record more before they run out of prerecorded ones.
