Back in October 2018 James McLaughlin cameraman and I headed to Northwest Spain to visit a town that was aiming to lose a collective 100 thousand kilos by the start of this year. During lockdown they hit their target. In my latest podcast James and I caught up with our interpreter and guide who got us out of a hole because of a misunderstanding while we were there filming.

A decade ago Nicola Blackmore was Ian's camera woman and picture editor. Together they travelled throughout the UK reporting for BBC Scotland news.
