I stumbled across yall a couple months ago. I listened here and there but now I am obsessed. I listen to true crime at work and y’all’s podcast is the only one who doesn’t make me feel down due to all the banter that yall have! I love it-keep it up ❤️

My husband and I love y’all. I never thought anyone else had a husband that makes funny inappropriate comments about literally everything and it cracks me up listening to yall, you actually sound like just drinking and hanging with friends because you’re so down to earth

Sassiness is humorous and entertaining. Condescension, disrespect, and utter rudeness are not. So much potential, but I cannot listen to the verbal spousal mistreatment.

I enjoy listening to your podcast. The chemistry between you two is great. BUT, I do get a little frustrated when Stu is giving us a “Y’all Need Jesus” and gets cut off. Please let him finish telling us the story so WE can decide for ourselves if it’s stupid or not😜some of them seem interesting.

The wife giggles too much throughout and cannot communicate words without constantly messing up. Too hard to listen to.

I never thought I would called a true crime podcast “hilarious,” but here we are. Cara and Stu have spoiled me when it comes to podcast entertainment and I’m sad that I’ve made it thru their entire catalog. Their dynamic is so funny and the research on the cases is great. I get a hit of dopamine every time Patreon notifies me that they’ve posted a new episode. Just please don’t take anymore 2 year long breaks 🤣

This is the worst podcast I have ever listened to, way too much stupid conversation between the hosts.

I just listened to the episode about Stacie Pannell as this is a hometown murder for me and the constant giggles from the wife and the sexually inappropriate “jokes” from the husband were so gross. Stacie was a real person with a real family that still grieves her loss to this day. I hope none of them ever here this episode. Also, the audio is horrible, most of the time all you can hear is mumbling from the husband. I hope y’all do better cause this is terrible.

Stumbled across this podcast while traveling and started it from episode 1 and currently on episode 68. Stew’s y’all need Jesus part is the greatest 😂. You guys break down everything and keep it entertaining so it’s not boring

I love this podcast! The way they banter is so funny and the stories are always interesting. My favorite part is when they call themselves out for doing the things people complain about in their reviews! It’s so great!

I think that Cara and Stew have the perfect rapport for telling a true crime story…maybe because they remind me of me and my husband? Cara’s case research is impressive and Stew rounds out the episodes with his “FL or not FL” news clips. All in all it makes for some great listening while I commute!

I LOVE this podcast! I have listened to and subscribed to several true crime podcasts and this one is definitely one of the best. The cases are well researched, which I really appreciate. I also really appreciate Cara and Stew and how they present everything. Their personalities bring so much to this podcast. Keep up the good work, guys, I’m a forever listener. (I wrote this review a couple years ago, but wanted to add on to it…) After a break to make 2 humans I am so happy this podcast is back. Not only does my initial review still stand, but I wanted to add that Cara has gone out of her way to do extra episodes for those of you who don’t want all the banter. She didn’t have to, but she did so I think she deserves some praise there. Researching, writing and recording this podcast while being a new mom to TWO little ones, and working… seriously, Cara deserves some praise. Stew is awesome too, of course, but I really wanted to talk up Cara because she deserves it.

Love y’all’s guts! I feel right at home with all the off topic conversations, banter, and uncontrollable giggling. You really are the perfect podcast pair!

I really like this pod. The hosts are likable (I think we could be friends in real life) and make a great duo. They don’t take themselves too seriously and all the stories are entertaining, but never disrespectful to the victims, never preachy, and they come off as really liking what they are doing. It’s one of my favorites because there’s nothing else quite like it out there. Start from the first pod! They really grown on you!

I started listening toward the beginning of your podcast journey, and have been hooked ever since. I went through a serious with drawl period when you decided to start having children instead of recording my favorite podcast. I’m so glad you’re back and look forward to your episodes every week. By the way, the people who give less than five stars, just have bad taste.

Wish I could take these hosts to brunch - just to hear the banter! They are adorable and they can really bring a story to life!

Cara and Stewart are perfect together. They make me laugh on every episode. I especially like when Cara gets tickled and Stewart’s dry wit. Being Southern myself I love their down home humor and they are perfect foils for one another.

This is one of my favorite podcasts. It feels like I’m sitting on the porch with them and we’re dishing on crimes and criminals. I love their banter. I really like how they don’t take themselves too seriously. I also appreciate how they always respect the victims.

You guys are my #1 favourite podcast. As everyone else says I enjoy hearing cases not everyone else has covered. Cara’s repeating KILLS me, she’s funny and fun and reminds me a lot of someone I’d enjoy in real life but she repeats everything Stu says and everything she says herself. It takes away from the story a bit and makes it tough to listen to sometimes. Anyways, I’ll still always listen because I love your podcast but I thought I’d put my two cents in :)

I don’t mind banter, I don’t mind a little laughter, but know what you are talking about. One episode was enough for me. The host didn’t even know what state the crime happened in, she didn’t know basic things about the time period the murder occurred in, if you don’t know don’t talk about it. Googled the case, they didn’t even spell the victims name correctly, that is disrespectful. Just don’t waste your time. There are so many good true crime podcasts and this isn’t one of them.
