Ahmad brings a unique take on the latest UVa sports news and game commentary. As a former player he has so much insight into the game. Plus, his cohost Pettyhawk is hilarious! Even years later it’s still one of the best!

Go HOOS!!!!!

Such a great show. Funny and I learn something new about football every episode.

Thanks for always providing a fair and grounded perspective. I love the player perspective in your reviews because we don’t get that from the other sources. Keep it coming and much love!

Great show love the honesty from someone who really loves UVA. Go Hoos!!! My favorite part is the break downs. He talks to us with coach speak because he knows we understand football and that is awesome!!

I look forward to Ahmad’s pre-and post game take every week. He knows Virginia football inside and out. Goo Hoos

Been listening to you on and off since middle school. Gotta admit, I really wasn’t listening as a youth but as a grown man now? You continue to deliver. Deliver the goods, deliver the fact, and the opinion. Bring good energy is always and I appreciate what you do not only for this community but for the Uva community and just the football community in general. I love how accessible you make yourself, and I appreciate the work you’ve put in. I hope this never ends and no matter who has the rights to the show. This is still the ballhawk show to me, and it’ll never change. Keep going Black man.🫡

Keep it going Ballhawk

I’ve been listening to BallHawk for several years. Other sports pods come and go as my interest wanes but Ball Hawk is consistently entertaining and informative. He is objective but passionate about Virginia football without being rude or nasty regarding opponents. Keep it going Ahmad and GoHoos .

🧡 love this podcast with Ahmad!

Love the podcast by the Ballhawk! Listening to the podcast is like hanging out with a good buddy talking football with lots of great insight and laugh out loud humor from Ballhawk and of course, Pettyhawk. :). Love the show! Aaaaa- ah!

Great Podcast to listen to, I love all the guests they bring on, its great to listen to people with such great insight on UVA athletics.

Great to get a new podcast.

Packed a lot of info about the D into that one Hawk. Thanks.

I enjoyed the breakdown of the game and the perspective that came with it. Keep it up. Great work!

Ahmad’s analysis is on point, and he offers a balanced review of what is happening on the field. He understands the game from a player and coach perspective and is very good at explaining what’s going on between the lines.

Ahmad provides tremendous insight into the UVA football program. He weaves together a player’s perspective, program history, opponents and balance to educate and entertain. A must listen for both new and old Hoos.

I love the analysis coming from a player’s perspective. Hawk is a die-hard ‘Hoo, but he is also willing to criticize when it is warranted. A “must” for UVA football fans.

Great listen and well worth subscribing! Each episode is full of insights and often times Ball Hawk will host guests with incredible backgrounds.

Wahoowa

Each week I love jumping around to different podcasts of opposing fan base that my team will be facing that week. Your show has hands down been my favorite to listen to this year! For starters, you had me jamming at an otherwise monotonous day at work (MJ was an *excellent* choice of music by the way). On top of that, the preview, breakdown, and overall tone of the show is fun and thoughtful. Most importantly it’s extremely apparent that you also know what you’re talking about (which can’t always be said across the board). I wish more hosts would take some notes on your show! You’re a joy to listen to, keep it up!

Love the Offense and Defense breakdown keep doing what you doing bro Haters going to Hate. Good is the enemy of Great

Ballhawk is the 🐐. Knowledgeable and he doesn’t hold anything back. Go Hoos!

Ahmad Hawkins, also known as Ball Hawk, knows his Football and Basketball. The Ball Hawk Podcast is a great listen for University of Virginia sports fans. Hawkins played Wide Receiver on the UVA football team in the late 90’s, and has been immortalized amongst UVA fans for his game-winning touchdown against rival Virginia Tech in 1998.

Great pod w/ Ahmad Hawkins, quality breakdowns of UVa football and more from an ex-WR/DB’s perspective.

The only UVA related podcast that drops new episodes weekly.

As always, the Ball Hawk gets right to what is important. Thanks for another good discussion!

Ballhawk shoots straight and knows the game. Great podcast.

This guy is awesome, he doesn’t sugar coat anything and tells it like it is. Gained so much knowledge from him, and look forward to the episodes week after week. You MUST give this guy a listen! Thank me later

If you follow UVA athletics this a must...show goes beyond usual talk radio stuff with great insight from someone who knows what it takes to beat Va Tech...Go Hoos!

Entertaining, level headed review of UVa sports from one of the all time greats! Wahoowa!

Ballhawk knows his stuff, so I really appreciate the insights coming from experience, and he generally keeps the show pretty light and entertaining overall. Good balance of opinions too, he's pretty straight-up and rarely gets into hot takes. Bottom line, every UVA fan needs to have this in their feed!

Hawk keeps it real for the wahoo faithful. Always a fun 20 minutes. He knows what he’s talking about because he’s been there. Also 757, shell toed Adidas. Go Hoos!

Great Podcast. I appreciate you reppin' the 757. I too rep the 7 cities. Denbigh HS Class of '88!

Straight trash can juice!! Lol Keep up the great work
