This show is the perfect combination of stupidity and wit.

I have listened since before Mark “Muffed the Movies!” Mark is a super talented and witty comedian and podcaster. Muffed movies can get off the track and is pretty irreverent, but that’s what I like about it. Regular guest like Dave Stecco keep the show funny. If you like it, go to Patreon and give him money, unless you like commercial interruptions wreaking your podcasts. :-)

You won't regret subscribing to this podcast. It's hilarious. The regular episodes are great. Dottore and his guests are so funny. The muffed movie specials are hilarious, even if it's a movie I haven't seen. I also really enjoy the Rue Brittania specials. I hope they keep recording the last episode of it for a long time. Listening to this podcast makes work a much more enjoyable experience.

I just love weird absurd humor, and this is the weirdest, most absurd podcast I've ever listened to.

if you like your learning experiences riddled with puzzling, knee-jerk styled antagonism then this is the show for you! enjoy the struggle as nerd after nerd endeavors to convey simple but captivating scientific concepts over an onslaught of interruptions by the not-at-all socially cognizant host, dotorre. his idiot roommate also does a sub-podcast called muffed movies which is, no exaggeration, the best thing.

Blastropodcast is a delight for any fan of science and language! I simply cannot overstate what a talented and lightning quick wordsmith the host is. Puns, rewordings, intentional mispronunciations and other tomfoolery slide so effortlessly from his mouth. Blink your ears and you’ll miss it. The actual science is there, real facts are discussed, but I don’t think that is the point of the show. This is a keeper!

Dottore Balordo is a whale of a man imbued with the gift of language. His speech patterns appear to be spoonerisms wrapped in a metathesis tortilla and dunked into a secret sauce of pure enjoyment. The consumption of this podcast is guaranteed to please! Guests each week must traverse the twisted mind-scape of Dottore to guide the listening audience to a scientific epiphany! Listeners will delight as Dottore tests their mental acumen through delightful word-play and a blatant disregard for reality. I would give this podcast 6 stars if I could. Rarely has my meat-space frame rumbled with this much actual out-loud laughter!

I have always been a fan of Dottore Balordo. But this stuff is off the page! So Funny! Nothing better than a terribly flawed blowhard leading us astray in the name of science! What could be more fun!

Blastropodcast is a weird romp through science and pop culture. Dottore's manic mind keeps the show fresh and unexpected. It gets better with every episode! If you're the kind of person who would happily plop "SuperEgo" and "Radiolab" in the same podcast playlist - then this is the podcast for you. My only complaint: not enough Kobold!

For those of you unfamiliar with Dottore, he's a phrase-mangling, science-touting word monger that habitually mixes up his references is delightful ways. Each episode, he meets with an expert on that episode's theme and gleefully misunderstands everything that is put before him. For those who take joy in verbal banter and malapropisms, this is the podcast for you!

Stumbled upon this on a recommendation from a friend, and I can't believe I'm the first person to review it but it's amazing. Each episode, the host "Doctor" has a discussion with one or two guests about an area of their expertise, and over the course of the episode usually has some adventures with them as well. Just listen to the first 10 minutes of the first episode and you'll be hooked.
