YOUTH FOR YOUTH KENYA -Teeby ft Victor Ker and Asab Cian Cheruyiot
...... When young we tend to have a positive outlook. Older people, however, may think they've grown past the enthusiasms of their youth, but chances are they're doing little to stimulate their attitude. In reality, a positive attitude has no connection to age. At the age of 76, General Douglas MacArthur said, "You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope, as old as your despair. In the central place of every heart, there is a recording chamber; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer and courage; so long as you are young. When the wires are all down and your heart is covered with snows of pessimism and the ice of cynicism, then and only then are you grown old. --- This episode is sponsored by 路 Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

The hustler Narrative Ft Bwomeka Gwaro
'The Hustler Narrative' There are definitely many defintions out here on what defines the term hustler. I know whoever is reading this already knows what it means but who doesn't love controversy, so here goes. According to Cambridge dictionary, a hustler is " someone who tries to deceive people into giving them money. " A hustler is also defined as, "a person who is aggressively hardworking and who knows how to get around problems." If you are a Kenyan, born and raised here , went to school in a kenyan school all through primary to campus you definitely know which definition you'd take. If you are Kenyan and from the word go never lacked to the point you are now you'd probably have a contrary opinion. I write this angry and proud at the same time. I am proud to be a hustler , I will be honest I find being called a hustler totally imposing. This is why , all through my life my parents have raised me to be a young independent man. This means I had to go to school yes, but could not ideally depend on school for survival. They , from an early age instilled in me to appreciate that you had to work hard for whatever you wanted. My parents went to school alright... They are learned alright but I doubt whatever they studied in school or rather their career paths enabled them to pay for their 8 kids fees all through the levels of education. They had to hustle. Think out of the box to provide for their kids. I am angry because the privileged who have never actually hustled in their lives have the audacity and believe they have the moral authority to stand and lecture us on how to be a hustler, who can be a hustler and where to cross the line thereof. This are people who are calloused and have bloated egos and only care about themselves. People who don't know what it means to lack because their parents or they themselves have looted and sucked our public coffers dry to enrich themselves. To tell a Kenyan who wakes up each day and goes out to hustle to provide for their kids is totally irreverent. Imagine the mama mboga who wakes up each day , goes to the market to buy vegetables to sell tho the people in an estate she cannot even afford to live in her kibanda at the farthest corner of the estate, the young unemployed graduate who wakes up at 4 to cook mandazis his friend who has to wake up earlier to ensure he brings water to estates in his mkokoteni. That single mother who stands in traffic with her kids selling sweets to the people on the road.

World Suicide Prevention Day ft Teeby
According to the WHO, we lose about 8,00,000 people to suicide every year, that is, roughly 2,200 people each day. The situation is no different in Kenya . The reasons might be different but the consequence is the same, making it a clarion call to generate awareness on some of the pressing questions related to understanding people with suicidal tendencies.
