Like the advice but...
Does anyone else have a hard time listening because her voice can get extremely high and shrill? I like what she says but I cannot stand the constant high notes she hits when talking to the point I have to stop the podcast. She has a normal voice when speaking to other ppl on the podcast but when she monologues it's way too much-I don't understand the change in octave suddenly when she's ranting. Ugh what a bummer.

Big Ag Big Miss episode
Super disappointed in this one, been listening since episode 1 but the dismissal of animal experience was gross. Talking about how animals have ‘plenty of space’ inside a barn never seeing sunlight or being outside.. just say ‘suffering doesn’t matter ;)’. I get there may be no nutritional difference in meat but to dismiss the fact that to animals there’s a very big difference in quality of life was disgusting and disappointing.

Loved the stress illness episode
I related to this episode on a personal level. Having dealt with IBS my whole life. I wish I could have found someone like Dr Clark. Thank you so much for sharing, this is a great podcast!

Priceless information
As a RD2B and finishing my masters in nutrition Abbey has always been my go to dietitian to broaden my understanding of nutrition. I feel more and more confident each episode I listen to or instagram reel I watch. Thank you for all the hard work you do!

Super informative
I enjoy the fair presentation of topics, especially a lot of the maha and diet culture noise. Would love an episode on the surge of all the fixes for menopause issues that seem to be filling my feed.

Love Abbey
Great, science based conversations that are un bias and pertinent to todays hot topics surrounding nutrition. I love how Abbey uses current research to support her statements and explores all sides to the stories she shares! Great RD with great insight! 10/10 recommend!

Love it!
Love the podcast and how Abbey’s setting all things health straight with research-backed evidence when there’s so much misinformation out there! Would love if there was an episode about Hypothyroidism and Hyperthyroidism as there are so many people struggling with both (me included!) and would love to know your tips.

Meh
I laugh whenever abbey says “pregnant PERSON” or big body rather than fat or obese. Stop coddling people with mental illness. Also Emily Contois is a spaz 🙄

love it!!!
I love listening to Abbey on long drives to pass the time, be entertained, and learn something new all at once! I love how she breaks down misconceptions and explains studies in layman's terms. she gives the perfect amount of validation to keep me from going down a diet wormhole while still keeping me motivated to reach my goals🖤

It’s a no
I listen to both sides, because I want to understand why…well, the handful of episodes I’ve listened to only keep me on the side of ‘MAHA’. Conventional farm and pharma have made us sick with a variety of chronic diseases. The argument that mercury is natural for the reason to eat artificial ingredients is weak. The argument that sugar is fine is weak. The argument that eating from the food pyramid and ultra processed foods is weak. I dare anyone who listens to this podcast to listen to who this podcast puts down as ‘misinformation’ and tell me how trying something new for health isn’t worth trying. We are sick. You’re not helping.

Learned so much insight on ADHD & eating habits
I was really impressed with this episode. I think it was so informational on explaining ADHD and related terms that impact our health snd eating habits: executive disfunctioning, domamine, self esteem.
The show's guest, Rebecca King, Registered Dietician, really pointed out how people with ADHD engage with tasks. The planning issues of meals, ignoring hunger when we're in the zone, and how we might use for for dopamine.

Very informative
Great podcast, discussing some taboo and controversial topics with level-headed approach and bringing facts. One may not agree with everything, which really is a point, but it gives you enough information to make up your own mind about certain things. I would for some of the topics to go a bit more in-depth but cognisant there is a time limit. Have a few suggestions for future topics to cover like supplements, are those good, which ones, what form, etc? Thank you Abby!

Nothing is perfect
This podcast covers lots of sensitive and controversial information and therefore I can’t say I agree with every ‘take’. However, Abbey is very level-headed and curious which makes this an incredible scientific podcast! Thanks for the info Abbey!!

Clear, approachable, compassionate
Abbey Sharp’s podcast is such a great resource for people looking for approachable, understandable, science driven content that tells the truth about health and diet culture. Her guests are top notch experts in the field. And she leads her conversations with compassion and grace, understanding it is a journey to disentangle from the grasp of wellness culture. Highly recommend!

Abbey Has Immeasurably Changed My Life
From healing my relationship with food damaged during adolescence to now healing my perception of myself changing as I reach the middle-age season of my life, I can’t thank Abbey enough. Her content consistently makes me cry as she says the things I didn’t even know I needed to hear. I am the happiest and most confident in myself that I’ve ever been and know my girl Abbey is going to keep coming out with amazing content like this that supports my journey. Everyone deserves to hear and have access to this information. Thank you, Abbey, doing so much good in the world.

Refreshing evidence-based nutrition advice!
I’m a long time follower of Abbey, but a rather recent listener of Bite Back. As an aspiring RD myself, I love this podcast!! I wanted to write this quick review after listening to the most recent episode on Menopause. My mom is currently in the thick of the “big M” and she has been struggling to find accurate information on how to navigate this phase of life. I’m currently in my dietetic internship and have been trying to find evidence-based nutrition information about menopause, but honestly, information is sadly lacking in this department. Most of the women’s health specialties focus on weight management, and as we know, menopause is about so much more than weight! I was so excited when I saw this episode pop up in my podcast list, because this is exactly what my mom has been looking for. I sent her this episode and needless to say, she was so grateful for this breath of fresh air. There’s so much bogus nutrition information circulating around and it’s easy to get stuck in the weeds. Thank you so much for continually providing evidence-based advice!

The show is smart and important
I am so grateful that I happened upon this podcast. Abbey Sharp does an incredible job of identifying the most egregious misinformation about our health and debunking it with science. Keep doing what you do, Abbey! You are inspiring!
DoctorElle
Thank you
Thank you for giving a science based voice to fight all the rhetoric from growing up in the 90s, diet culture in 2000s, and social media misinformation today. Thank you for having empathy for past and present EDs. Thank you. Every episode has something that resonates.

Science and Sass!
Very informative and fun. Love the longer conversations with experts in the field. Abbey is great!

Love the new podcast!
I’ve been following Abbey on YouTube for a couple of years and love her straight forward facts vs hype. I was very excited when she started a podcast too! Same facts, same sass (that I love) plus guests going into even more detail.
Although I’ve never been diagnosed with an ED, and never had to deal with my weight when younger, once I hit middle age and then menopause and started actually gaining weight I couldn’t lose, I found my fat phobic and diet culture thoughts taking over. Thank you Abbey for giving the accurate lowdown on food and showing we don’t have to scared of it.

Decluttering Food Choices
I’ve been following Abbey on Instagram and You Tube for quite awhile. Having been raised by parents with eating disorders and unhealthy body images has made adulthood a mine field of yo-yo weight, confusion and frustration. Finally, at over a half century of life on the planet, some common sense conversations around actual science and our bodies basic need to eat! Thank you!!!! Also, Love the podcast format for listening while doing other things!

Love Abbey!
Really enjoying Abbey’s podcast! I’ve watched her tiktok and youtube videos but being able to listen to her on my commute has been great. Love that she’s always about adding foods rather than taking away! Also like the length of these. Not too long or short. Keep going Abbey!

A refreshing respite from diet influencers
I absolutely appreciate the science and reality based approach to nutrition on this podcast. I don't know how I missed Abbey before but I am oh so glad I found her now.

Thank you Abbey!
Science and common sense with patience and a smile.

Informative and interesting but lacks diversity
I do appreciate this podcast and Abbey’s effectiveness as a communicator in debunking diet myths and combating diet culture. I do wish she had more diverse guests. She mostly talks to other white women with very similar (if not the same) credentials that she has

Smart, informative
I LOVE Abbey Sharpe and was so happy to find her podcast. I started with her most recent episode on how food is gendered and it is so smart. Abbey breaks complicated topics down in ways that are easy to understand. Will definitely keep this podcast in my rotation.

Not Coming Back Here
I like your show. It’s great to hear a different point of view backed by proof and common sense, but using the f word is unprofessional and wearisome.

Not to be dramatic but…
This is the podcast I have been waiting for! These episodes are so helpful. My health anxiety is lessened with each episode I listen to. Thank you Abbey Sharp!

SCIENCE!
We are so bombarded with false “science” claims and Abbey is so patient as she debunks those claims AND offer the studies that prove her debunking. She never patronizes people who believe the things they hear online, but instead tries, with grace, to spread the truth. Thanks for the data Abbey! Love watching you on YouTube.
AudreyW1234
Not informative
This podcast has the objective of being science based to debunk ridiculous nutritional claims but it’s just boring conversations with people with eating disorders.
