Almerina Mascarello of Italy has a bionic hand with sensory input. The hand can send sensory waves to her brian, giving her the ability to feel everything around her. She had lost her hand in a workplace accident in 1993. She became part of a six-month experiment at Rome’s Policlinico Gemelli hospital and was fitted with the prosthetic in June 2016.
