Perfect to list to at the shop
Kinda like talking to the people I ride and work with. Long time listener, first time caller.

Zwift and power
Stupid is as stupid does. No one uses power alone with out heart rate unless they are completely stupid. Putting this hack from Zwift on was really dumb. Stop giving the dumb people a platform.

Good podcast, but...
The quality of the content of this podcast is good to great, but the sound quality is horrible to barely acceptable. To begin with, the overall volume of this podcast is significantly lower than any other podcast I listen to. Worse yet, the volume of the host and the guest are rarely at the same level. To be able to barely hear one I have to crank the volume up so high that the other person is too loud. I’ve turned off multiple episodes well before they were over because I got too frustrated rewinding in a sometimes vain attempt to understand what someone said. This audio problem has been consistent whether played on my car’s stereo, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, or through my iPhone’s internal speakers. If not for the audio issues I would rank this podcast four stars.

Love the show but please ask Silca to make you a soundmeter
Love all of your podcasts, especially the in-depth reviews and conversations with equipment makers (Pivot, Silca, Wolftooth, etc). But please get a decent soundmeter. Listening to podcasts is an exercise in rewinding to relisten to something that was muffled or turning down the volume because what was too soft is now too loud. It’s not just the Bikerumor podcast but others like Paceline, Cyclingtips, etc. I think all of these podcasts could use a good soundmeter so that the volume of the podcast is acceptable.
Other than that, keep up the good work. Do more interviews with people who make stuff.
Added. Just listened to the interview of Shimano. I loved the final part when you explained the online pricing situation and how ChainReactionCycles was hand-spanked by Shimano on their prices. I actually was buying from CRC and was wondering why I couldn’t buy Shimano parts from them while I’m in the US. You explained it. I’m not happy about it but at least it’s an explanation.

Insightful and entertaining
Been a fan of Trevor's for some time now - his authenticty and passion for everything he does is infectious and this show is a perfect representation of this.
Highly recommend listening and subsribing to The Bikerumor Podcast if you're looking for a refreshing spin on the ins-and-outs of the biking world (both from a design and business perspective). 🔥🔥🔥
