Big Red Junkies is for the fans by fans. Lee Winkler and Jed Burks created this podcast to be the voice of the fans. We have been life long Husker fans just like you have. Lee is a farm boy from Atkinson, NE. During harvest season as a kid, Lee would listen to games on the radio in the tractor. Jed is born and raised in Omaha. You may have heard his voice on various radio sports talk shows. This will be as if its just fans talking sports at a bar like we all enjoy doing. Expect many crazy opinions and spirited debates. Most importantly we want this to be a show for the fans so they want to hear from you. They want your questions and comments and discussion topics. Not just about how much you love the show but about the Nebraska teams we all root for. Who knows, maybe they will invite you on the show. They will not be a suck up show, but they will not be overly negative. They will call it as the see it, good or bad. In the end they just want our beloved Nebraska teams to win. They will talk mostly football since that is the main thing we all care about but will touch on the athletic department as a whole.
