Episode 5 - A New Approach for a New Year
Welcome to Episode #5 of Big Picture Living. This episode I sat down and pressed record over a cuppa with my dad, and we discussed a revolutionary approach to healing - Bioelectric Meridian Massage Therapy (BMT). BMT is a technique that uses the body’s natural bioelectricity to promote healing of underlying causes and imbalances in the body, instead of merely managing the symptoms. It's an interesting listen, that's for sure! I've even had a few treatments myself... very impressive! Episode 4 - Know Your Farmer
Welcome to Episode #4 of Big Picture Living. I love this Episode! I had the absolute privilege of interviewing Hamish Andrews of Forage Farms, located in Kybong, and we unpacked buzz words such as ‘organic’, ‘free range’, ‘grass-fed’, ‘pasture raised’... and more. Hamish is a knowledgeable, passionate, down-to-earth young man and I can't wait to see how his contribution to regenerative agriculture evolves. Episode 2 - The SoMa SoMa Story
Welcome to Episode #2 of Big Picture Living, where we learn "The SoMa SoMa Story" - the core values at the heart of a thriving cafe located in Gympie (Australia). What I love about this episode is the length that Sandra and John go to, not only to ensure that their staff and customers are nourished in both body and spirit; they are HUGE on Reusing, Recycling, Repurposing, Reimaging… and Respect. They're an incredibly nurturing establishment that considers humans, animals and environment alike - I hope you feel warm in the heart when listening to this episode. Episode 1 - Chiropractic Care
Welcome to Episode #1 of Big Picture Living. In this episode, the importance of Chiropractic Care is explored with chiropractor Dr. Damian Mamet of Wide Bay Chiropractic, located in Gympie (Australia). Chiropractic care is essential for both physical and mental health, but is often overlooked. You don’t need to be in pain to see a chiropractor - regular treatments can not only help improve and prevent pain; they can also improve insomnia, mental health, migraines, vertigo, indigestion and more! A good chiropractor has an array of tools in their belt, not just the stereotypical manual adjustment that results in a series of nerve-racking (yet strangely satisfying) cracks. In my interview with Damian he advises that chiropractic care can be received as frequently as weekly, and as infrequently as bi-monthly... It really depends on the individual.
