After releasing our first podcast episode last year 'What no one tells you after leaving university' we thought it was only right to update everyone and let you know where we are up to now! This year and a bit after leaving uni has brought many challenges with it but also a lot of rewards. So give it a listen and let us know what you think by following us @bapsandchats on all socials. We're back!! In this episode recorded during lockdown 2.0  we spill the tea on all the lockdown drama and how the dreaded pandemic has changed our lives since the last episode. 

After both recently reading Dolly Alderton's award winning book 'Everything I Know About Love', we were inspired to think about how we had viewed the love we'd experienced in our lives so far. Whether that be romantic or platonic love, we found it to be a really interesting topic to discuss and not one we had ever fully delved into before. Chatting in the same way the book was set, from primary school to present day, we found out a lot more about each other and ourselves. We hope the 'love' stories we have shared with you can make you laugh but also think more about your own personal experiences with love!

Last July we both finished our music degrees, this also marked the end of our 16 years in education. This is the time we found that no one really prepares you for, as most of your formative years you're given a clear path to follow in education and then all of sudden you're left to figure it out alone. From talking with friends who were or had been in the same boat we knew we weren't the only ones feeling this way and began to think 'why is no one talking about this?'. So when it came to planning what we wanted to chat about for our first podcast we both fully agreed that this should be the topic, as even in November we were still feeling the effects of leaving university and being in this "unknown" territory. If you are still at university or have left or didn't even go in the first place, this podcast should help you with ways to cope with the big changes in life and hopefully you can relate and be helped by some of the topics we discuss!

We have decided to take our bi-weekly radio show to the podcast world, where we'll discuss the nitty gritty moments that come with being two women in our early twenties. From leaving university to careers, relationships and everything in between. We hope we can make you laugh and cry with us (or at us) with the result being you feeling better about your own life.
