I got caught up in a ton of legalism once I got saved and later on God brought me out of that with the help of many pastors but one in here in Mike Winger. I am very selective who I listen to now because I want to guard my heart. Mike is just really good at his discernment and critical thinking and it’s blessed me so much. I love going back and listening to old Q & A’s while working or when I had time to hit the gym. Thank you for your ministry Mike, may God almighty bless you abundantly here on earth and with Heavenly rewards!

The thing I love about Mike Winger’s videos is how thorough he is. He doesn’t start with an opinion and then try to fortify it. He doesn’t start the work to really dig into scripture and evidence, while still being charitable to those who think differently. His work in cover up culture right now has left me particularly impressed. We needed someone to go up against this stronghold and I am so thankful he answered the call.

Mike gives a logical and balanced lens in which to view the world through biblically and it’s beyond refreshing - even calling out and naming red flags that are ignored in the Body of Christ. So grateful for your boldness and saying out loud what so many have noticed but lacked the courage to sound the alarm over.

I am so thankful for Mike’s ministry! I just listened to the Che Anh episode, and it’s hard to believe how much courage it takes to go so public with something so explosive.

I’m really enjoying Mikes content. I’m thrilled someone has taken on these false prophets. This culture in today’s church is destroying the fundamental foundations of trust and accountability that should be first and foremost in the church. I’ve been digging deeper into scripture and Mike’s ministry has been an incredible blessing in my Christian walk. I wish I would have found him sooner- so many of my life long answers are addressed biblically in his videos. I love how down to earth and humble he is- truly a godly man! Regarding Shawn Bolz: Thank you for advocating for victims and taking biblical principles and commands seriously. However, you seem to be, subtly, repeating the “support leaders and forgive” rhetoric that’s already caused so much damage. It’s very discouraging to see people fawn over Bethel’s verbal apology. The cost to Bethel is minimal. They’ve maximally shielded themselves from consequences after leaving the victims maximally vulnerable to destructive men. Very cowardly and should not be overlooked. Sadly it seems true accountability will require an expensive, deserved and unpleasant lawsuit. Disappointed in your recent take.

Mike is courageous and appreciated for his in depth research and finally setting the Bolz captives free! I always appreciate what he has to say and have learned a lot from him! Great teaching every time. His integrity shines.

I’ve listened to Mike for years. I’ve never heard him say anything that was theologically off base or weird. I’ve learned so much from him. He’s my ‘go to person’ if I have questions about the Bible, apologetics or worldview stuff.

I thank God for pastor winger. When I first started asking God who he was in my mid 40s I started reading all kinds of religious books and the bible was the only one that spoke to me , the rest sounded like another language. I read the bible daily but still didn’t understand so many things and struggled with many more. This podcast and other videos help so much I can’t even say one thing. Jesus saved my marriage , relationships and myself. I didn’t have a bad life but it wasn’t a life for God and it showed. I wish you would do a bible in a year podcast.

My title is I’m a little weird because the only complaint I’m really seeing in the reviews is the length of the podcast is to long, I actually genuinely appreciate how long the podcast is ,my main job is mowing lawns and I love to listen to podcasts in my free time so the longer the episode the more mows I can cover either that one episode. I found Mike winger on YouTube by accident after encountering one of his videos refuting polygyny as a biblical concept. Love and appreciate his biblical thinking and how he encourages others to do the same.

Mike is a different denomination than I am, so I disagree occasionally, and could bring my Bible verses with me,but that’s ok! He encourages critical and more importantly biblical thinking! Not based on pop Christianity or what is comfortable but the truth of Scripture, which can often be uncomfortable because it is so countercultural.

This is one of my favorite podcasts. I listen to each new episode when it comes out. I’ve learned so much through Mike’s teachings.

Mike Winger is overall pretty good. He is not a scholar or a debater and so his interaction with other Christian traditions leaves something to be desired, but especially if you are just an evangelical looking for help thinking about deep things he’s pretty solid. He goes much deeper and has more room for nuance than most pop Christianity resources. I’m also not a fan of how long most of his content goes; I think if he put more work into making things concise it would be more valuable.

I appreciate the tough topics discussed-and he gives a great resource too do my own study too.

I love this podcast! Mike continuously points to scripture for the answers for difficult and confusing questions and does it with a spirit of humility. He also encourages the listeners to study the whole of scripture to find answers themselves not be dependent upon his words alone. Great, solid teachings. Has definitely helped me grow in God’s word.

I listen to this podcast everyday, the entire 8 hours I’m at work. God and His word are transcendent of time, so whether an episode is a day old or 5 years old, every lesson is extremely valuable.
