This podcast is equal parts hilarious as it is informative. Alex and Lorne bring to life the Bible in such a fun way. Alex definitely has shades of Jack Black. Big shoutout to the Moses voice and the metal plague episode.

Did we just become best friends??! This podcast turns biblical figures and stories into funny relatable characters. Pastor Alex’s voices are on point and Pastor Lorne does a great job of reflecting on the moral for Old Testament stories. Each podcast leaves you wanting to listen more. I’ve never been more excited to listen to bible stories then to hear if from these guys.

Not only can I remember them, but of the handful of stories these nerds have covered so far, I can even recant and pull from them for reference, on demand, with some confidence. I never thought the Bible could be so entertaining, but alex and Loren have done just that! I can never listen to an episode with laughing at least 10 times and learning something new about the Bible stories I grew up with. Would recommend to anyone of any age (especially for college kids)!

I'm loving this podcast. Like having two friends (besties, if you will) tell you a well known story in their own words. Old Testament stories become more relatable, and it's easier to see the big picture.

This isn't normally something I say when people start talking about the Bible, but this is genuinely fun. And in a strange way, I think that the harmlessly entertaining liberties that these guys take is somehow closer to the way the text was intended to be heard and played around with than so much somber doctrinalism. BBs has become a regular in my pod lineup.

I just wanted to say I am enjoying this way of hearing the bible! You all give new light to the old stories I have heard many times! Thanks for sharing your talents!

I can't speak highly enough about this podcast. I am not religious at all, but I could listen to Alex and Lorne all day. These hosts take an archaic text and translate it in a hilarious but meaningful way which speaks to any modern-day listener who wants to learn a bit more about the bible. Before today, there was zero chance I would subscribe to a podcast about religion or the bible; now I have zoomed through all the episodes of Bible Besties and can't wait for the next one to come out. God put swimmy little fishes in the sea! (You'll understand what I mean once you subscribe and listen)

If you like ham sandwiches and acclaimed Australian actor Russell Crowe, then this is the Bible podcast for you! It's like 'Drunk History' with Bible stories, only without all the drinking...other than all the drinking that happened in the Bible...so yeah, I guess it is exactly like 'Drunk History.'

I am thoroughly surprised by how incredible this podcast is. I had always hoped to find something like this - and Bible Besties far exceeds any expectation I ever had. This is a great way to get The Word across and it's done in such a fun way. I have actually RETAINED more information by listening to this than I have most sermons I've heard.
