Ep. 43: Handling Jealousy and Comparison of Those Around You
We’ve both dealt with comparing ourselves and feeling jealous of our non-chronic illness friends who are achieving the goals we thought we’d be doing. We are sure many of you have felt the same. It’s hard to handle feeling stuck due to chronic illness. In this episode, we discuss our experiences with jealousy and comparison and how we’ve handled it. We also touch on the idea of having to redefine yourself once you get sick since many of your hobbies and goals may have to change. We hope this episode provides comfort in knowing that it’s totally normal to have these feelings and you’re not alone. There are so many obstacles in life in general, but they can feel amplified when dealing with chronic illness. We’ll figure out a way to get through all of this together. Don’t forget to join our Instagram family so that we can all help support each other through the tough times (and the good ones)!
