I binge listened to every episode - Thank you!
I loved everything about this podcast from the intro music and purpose statement at the beginning to the five questions at the end of every episode and everything in between. In multiple episodes Kate and Maggie speak of teachers that want to make LGBTQ inclusion a part of their learning environment but fear they can’t. I felt like they were speaking right to me. Each episode made me reflect on myself as an educator and the classroom space I create for my students and their families. If you feel the climate of your community limits your ability to be an outspoken ally, this podcast offers you small tokens of advice that will leave you inspired, hopeful, and motivated.

Listen in to learn -- this podcast is for EVERYONE!
Thank you, Kate, Maggie and your awesome edu-guests! I'm a mom, an educator, a citizen. And I know it's important for me to be a learner, too. As I listen to Kate & Maggie and their dynamic and honest guests, I've built up more knowledge about the LGBTQ community AND heard ideas about how I can be a braver upstander for queer kids, teachers and community members -- work we need to do to have healthy world. AND -- I love the 5 questions feature at the end of each episode.

Powerful and Important
As a gay educator in a conservative part of the country, I often feel alone. This podcast reminds me I am not alone in this journey. It simultaneously highlights allies, our hopes, and our future, and sheds light on important things we can all do to make this a more inclusive world for each of us!

Invitation to Learn...
One of the reasons I became a teacher was, no is, learning fascinates me. 36 years and it's no different except my awareness of learning has been channeled toward understanding and supporting all people must include the LGBTQ+ community both academically and politically. Kate and Maggie are as wise in these podcasts as I have always found them to be in helping me teach literacy in thoughtful ways. I am humbled by their intelligence, thoughtful examples, and grace.

Brilliant and Beautiful
Incredibly powerful conversations with inspiring educators. Maggie and Kate are amplifying voices and stories to help us reach all of our students, see all of our colleagues, and push us to live in and out of the classroom openly and authentically.

Important in so many ways!
I cannot find the words to express how important this podcast is for educators. Kate and Maggie feel like new friends that I can relate to on so many levels. It feels so empowering to be represented by like-minded educators who are focused on creating classrooms that are safe and inclusive for all students where everyone is represented. They introduce me to someone new every week that I immediately follow and twitter and continue to learn from and from whom I also find inspiration and important resources. As a teacher, a lesbian, a mother, and an advocate for any student voices that are marginalized, I cannot begin to stress the importance of this type of podcast.

Simply wonderful
Kate and Maggie are naturals at this! I can’t wait to see where this goes because it is essential to have forms of media that focus on diverse topics. They have already touched on a topic that normally wouldn’t be discussed on a podcast and they did a great job. Keep the podcasts coming!

This is a great conversation for more and more people to start having.
I am a fifth grade teacher and a few years ago I asked my principal if I could start sharing some videos with my students of lgbtq teens sharing there experiences and she thought my students were too young. I have only watched one episode so far and there were great suggestions that no one could object to. Everyone should listen and continue the conversation.
