It's the hottest dance style in the world today. I started teaching heels classes in 2010 and have had a front row seat, along with the world, to its evolution. Too often I find myself in conversations about where it all began, and the current state of heels classes all over the world, and what we really do gain from it all. 

Pretty sure we all walked away from 2021 with quite a few lessons. Mine are not necessarily "new" lessons. However, they became more apparent to me this past year. What are some things that you learned in 2021, and how are you applying them to your life in this new year? Cheers!

Malcolm Gladwell suggests that not everyone is given equal opportunities and if we all were … well life would be a little different. While everyone is not given equal opportunities, everyone is given an opportunity at some point in their life. Now whether you are in a place to recognize the opportunity or not, is up to you. And what you choose to do with those opportunities is completely up to you. It's not the whole story, but here's a quick look at how a little girl from the south of Cameroon ended up in Texas running a handful of businesses for fun. And the "village" that helped to make her who she is today. 

Building a brand is hard enough, now let's garner the support of complete strangers talk them into buying our product/services regularly?? Starting a business is not for the faint of heart.
