Put some respect on Troy and Kelli’s names! This is a five star podcast and has been since day one. These are two of the most CONSISTENT, thoughtful, quick witted and entertaining podcasters you can find. They each posses an encyclopedic knowledge of different sides of pop culture. They blend together perfectly and can quite literally go on for hours about any topic! They put out 3+ episodes on current events all year while working on other projects. I love to see how far they’ve come. Yall better tap in and binge every word!!

I put Kelli and Troy on no matter the subject. They are like my high school besties. Extremely knowledgeable and funny. This is my favorite method of pop culture consumption!

I’ve been listening for over 4 years and I just love these two so much!

Love the show but their most recent take on Ariana Grande is a bit out of touch. Troy saying how great she sounds vocally, as if there isn’t a glaring issue going on is too much of Stan behavior. Young girls look up to her, especially since wicked came out. Don’t be so out of touch with what is quite literally the most deadly of all mental health disorders. I suggest not talking about it if you aren’t willing to be a bit more understanding of the psychological implications this will have on young women . And Kelly, you don’t have to wait for Troy’s take to formulate an honest opinion. In the same ep you said you couldn’t watch Marnis body change so much throughout Girls but did not have the same sentiment for a disappearing pop star? It’s fine you guys liked her in wicked but get over it, this will hurt people.

Love you guys deeply! However, very disappointed in the Ariana take. Obviously there are ppl on the internet who are psychos and picking her apart unfortunately that’s the internet. It’s a horrible, disgusting place. She is an incredible artist BUT it’s insane to blame her fans for not being able to look past her image. Not everyone is even a fan of hers, it’s just general decency to look after people and to potentially avoid bad situations. Comparing someone who is clearly (according to many board certified doctors )(allegedly) is suffering from the incredibly dire illness of anorexia nervosa -the language should be as delicate as you guys were trying to make it in her defense. Madonna being “old” is nowhere near the same as watching this girl wither away before our eyes. Look at Karen Carpenter. Everyone isn’t just bringing her up in jest. I love you both to death but have to say this episode regarding ed issues could have been handled with a little more sensitivity & care.

This podcast is generally good because it’s very informative. I’ve learned a lot about pop culture so I think they are doing a real service with their work; I know that stuff takes time, cleverness and dedication. My two issues though: The amount they mention about Britney Spears is strange to me but it’s also pointless to mention this since they probably won’t ease up on that. You’d think that they know her for how they assume things about her lol. Also, it’s very obvious when they have taken a tweet or something and try to pass it off as their own. I can almost pinpoint the tweet that they saw to make their point.

Love listening to Kelli and Troy talk about anything. Even when I disagree with them or am not interested in a particular topic or person, I just enjoy them. Most of the time I agree tho and find them to have refreshingly thoughtful perspectives.

Troy and Kelly are hilarious. They’re both so deep in celeb blinds it’s so addicting!

I love you guys and appreciate the pop culture episodes every week but please stop the hate on Hudson Williams, there is a huge, racist smear campaign going on on twitter and threads, don't believe things you see on there and dig a little deeper

I’ve been a longtime listener of Beyond the Blinds and used to absolutely love the show. Troy and Kelly were so funny together, and I genuinely looked forward to their takes on celebrities. The chemistry felt natural, the commentary was sharp, and it was one of my favorite pop culture podcasts. Unfortunately, the tone has shifted in a way that’s made it much harder to enjoy. The show now feels heavily political, and it often seems like opinions about celebrities are shaped by whether the hosts agree with them politically. If they do, the coverage tends to be more forgiving; if they don’t, it feels overly harsh. That makes the commentary come across as biased rather than balanced. I’ve also become uncomfortable with repeated negative generalizations about white people, especially white men (no, Troy I’m not a white man). It feels unnecessary and takes away from the actual topic. At times, it also feels like Kelly tiptoes around Troy rather than pushing back, which changes the dynamic that originally made their conversations feel more even and engaging. I’m sharing this because I really did love what the show used to be. I just miss when it felt centered on blinds and celebrity commentary rather than politics.

Laughing out loud at the bad reviews, you really thought Troy and Kelly would be pro-ice??? Do you even listen to them? Ignore the delusional maga freaks ❤️ Please never stop making episodes!!!! I love your banter together and you have so much chemistry, I feel like I’m right there with you guys.
