Dr. Jackie Nielsen, assistant superintendent of Beatrice Public Schools. Dr. Nielsen is the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment and Professional Development.
Earlier this month, Dr. Nielsen helped oversee an important project to ensure that Nebraska students have proper eyecare in order to learn in the classroom.
The project was utilized for the first time as 24 Beatrice kindergarten through fourth grade students took eye exams.
Sponsored by Beatrice Public Schools, the Nebraska Foundation for Children’s Vision and the Nebraska Optometric Association are helping to ensure that local students have proper eyecare in order to learn in the classroom.
