Between The Gaps is a podcast of an intergenerational & intersectional conversation between two family friends about the nerdy pop culture media stuff they like to geek out over.

Zhi Wen is a 20-something queer nonbinary Malaysian-Chinese, currently an international student at UBC in Vancouver, Canada. They're majoring in history and aren't quite sure what they're planning to do with that.

Nina is a 50-something year old lesbian who grew up in British Columbia. She was active in the Vancouver queer activism scene in the 90s and never really left the decade.

For their inaugural episode, Zhi Wen & Nina talk about Freaky Friday and its various adaptations. A very well fitting start to this intergenerational conversation.
