Her travels and life in several countries has taught her that when you are isolated you need to make an effort to connect with people.

Alan appears as your average European white male, but his life experiences have brought a great richness to his life which makes him far from that.  His appearance made his community connection in the United States as only superficial because his cultural and language differences.  Alan’s openness about identity and culture and how they connect to the world at large provides a unique global perspective.

Xandi  is a mixed race indigenous woman (Alb8n8ki Wampanoag, Aztec &  Black  Irish) who talks about navigating the unique roads of sacred   ceremonies, multicultural households and  politics. She talks about how   her skin color works for her and against depending on the situation and   how that has affected her identity and connection with others. Xandi   speaks from the heart and does not hold back in sharing her opinion and   experiences.

My brother and I talk about our upbringing in a bi-cultural and multilingual household, with two different socioeconomic backgrounds. We reflect on our experiences growing up in Spain and in the USA.
