Refreshing, funny, and inspiring!
I discovered this podcast through Angie’s Instagram. I’m a VIPKid teacher, and I loved all that Angie shared on her YouTube channel and Instagram account. After taking a three year break from social media, I decided to get back on Instagram in order to connect with other teachers. It was ridiculously overwhelming. However, I found Angie to be quite genuine and very refreshing. So, a few days ago I checked out this podcast... I’ve been binge listening to all the episodes for the past couple days. Angie and MaLyn are the friends I wish I had. They speak so honestly about what it’s like to navigate girl world and hectic mom life. They encourage kindness, vulnerability, patience, and empathy. I am so grateful they took the plunge and decided to pursue a podcast. Ladies, thanks for inspiring us all to chase our own passions... no matter what others might think. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to hearing more about your journey to being better(ish)!!!

Thanks for making my life better(ish)
I am LOVING this podcast!! MaLyn and Angie are like little Jiminy Crickets on my shoulder through the day, reminding me to be better(ish). So grateful for the info they share.. here and on Insta. They’re little reminders that I’m not alone and make me feel totally normal. I appreciate that!

Love you guys!!
It’s so crazy to me that I have followed you both on social media but for different things going on in my life. MaLyn for forever and we both believe in the necessary breakfast soda. I found Angie while I was applying to vipkid and I love her! It’s so fun that we’re all about the same age and dealing with a lottt of the same things in life. Motherhood, work, staying home with kiddos, life. We’re all in this together. This podcast is amazing and pretty much the only one I listen to. Y’all are so sweet and funny. I loved the Netflix episode and look forward to trying some of your favorites!! Xoxo Bonnie

Real mom to mom talk with intelligent women.
As a mom with three kids (five years old and younger) I can highly relate to each episode. A friend of mine recommended this podcast after our constant back and forth texts about how hard motherhood is and how we wish we were “better”. This podcast will reassure you that loosing your cool when your five year old comes downstairs butt naked when the bus will be here in five minutes, is completely normal. However (and this is the point) we can be better-ish with self awareness. Keep the episodes coming ladies, my friend and I will be listening. Thank you!

Such a timely podcast!
This podcast is so spot on. This week’s episode is especially great. I’m lucky to be in a relationship where our parenting responsibilities are shared pretty 50/50, but I think SO many women experience a lot of these inequalities. Especially the bit about childcare not even crossing many dads’ minds when they are planning “me time”. So glad Angie and MaLyn are talking about these issues! Women need to hear from other women because motherhood can be an isolating experience sometimes. Power in numbers! ✊🏽

It keeps getting better!
Such and uplifting and motivating podcast! This is the perfect podcast for moms raising little ones. I’ve known MaLyn for years and have always loved her so I knew I’d love this too! And know of famous Angie through VIPKid! Thanks ladies for the great advice and motivation that I am doing betterish ❤️

Uplifting, not guilt-tripping
I started following Malyn on Instagram when I lived in San Antonio and loved how she was real and honest with the messiness of motherhood. Her and Angie’s podcast is no different- they are funny, honest and real about life. They leave you feeling inspired to be betterish without making you feel guilty. Thanks ladies!

So awesome!
I ❤️ this podcast. They are honest and real. Angie is hilarious! They make me feel better about my baby steps toward being better...ish. MaLyn gives great advice and stories to back it up (helps me understand when my tired mom brain has checked out). These ladies are the best and are a freshness in the land of fake-ness and reality tv. Thanks for making my day a little better!

Love the real examples
I am loving the podcast. I find that it has really made me think and take notes as to changes I can make to my own life for myself, and with my children. I have especially enjoyed the “mean girls” and “body positivity” podcasts as I think those are difficult and much needed discussions. Keep up the positivity and fun!

Great episode
I know the body image episode was intended mainly for women but I feel like it really resonated with me while I was listening too. Great podcast, I feel like it’s getting better each week!

Thank you for the honesty!
As someone who found MaLyn through her t-shirt shop, I was so thankful to find a boutique that was realistic for all women out there. Although she has left those days, she still is empowering women through these weekly episodes. She and Angie have created an environment that is comfortable and real about issues that most people stray away from. I’m so thankful for the weekly dose of reality to help keep myself grounded and real with myself and better “ish”throughout my day!

Great job!
I love how you admit our weaknesses and also give good solutions for other women as well as our kids. I have enjoyed this podcast. I love the challenge to be betterish......just bit by bit we can make changes for the better.

So Fetch!
These girls aren’t plastic, they’re so real, relatable, and helpful. MaLyn and Angie aren’t like regular friends, they’re cool friends. The friends who get vulnerable and honest and uplifting and every good adjective I can think of while being distracted by the back of Aaron Samuels head. They tell it to you straight but also follow up with real takeaways to be better-ish and I love it. Go sit with everyone in the cafeteria and put it in the Burn Book: The Better-ish Podcast is so fetch!

Slow Your Roll, This Podcast Rocks!
I am loving this podcast! I have followed MaLyn since the dawn of her T-shirt days and I am so glad she and Angie teamed up together. I have to admit that I almost reached out this week to offer some constructive criticism when I thought Angie was talking way too fast (during the Brené Brown quote). However, I soon learned that my podcast app has a feature that will speed up the sound and I had accidentally clicked it! Wowzers,
I knew Angie was excited about the quote she was using but I couldn’t figure out how she was talking so darn fast! Anyway, this is a great podcast for every mom to listen- it’s real and it’s valid and it’s already got me trying to be better(ish).

Oh. My. Stars! I’ve followed MaLyn for years and I’ve always loved how raw, funny, and real she is; so when I heard a podcast was coming I was over the moon with excitement! You guys, this podcast was a missing puzzle piece in my life and I didn’t even know it! Tuning in each week is like settling in with two very non-judgemental friends to chat over coffee (or breakfast soda 😄). Listening to MaLyn and Angie chat has brought more joy and laughter into my life and I keep walking away with new, wise little tidbits that I can apply to my own life to be Better(ish). Thank you ladies for sharing this with us. I can’t wait to hear what’s up next! ✨

This has been the golden ticket of podcasts for me. LAUGHING MY FREAKING BUTT OFF! 2. MaLyn we’re taking Angie to Buccees and having all the breakfast taqueria from QT! 3. Angie I started using your phrase “not yet” with my girls and it’s been such a positive shift!!!

So relatable
Love this episode, everything was on point. I totally agree about the love languages. My kids are all so different and have certain needs and we as mothers need to be able to recognize that and act accordingly. Expectations are rough for kids. One task at a time. My 10 yo has ADHD and I struggled with him not focusing but it was my fault I was expecting him to do so much at once. Love this podcast so much already. I can relate to everything y’all said.

Keep it up!
I love this!!! I love the humor and light-hearted ness! The big take away for me was that when we are jealous, that might be something that we desire for ourselves and we can try to do that ourselves and don’t do it to compete, but to improve yourself. Thank you for the perspective!

Spot on!
Just finished the mom rage podcast and was so relieved to hear that I’m not the only mom that can go from normal to raging in 5 seconds or less. I loved what Angie said about the real world being the test and the home being the classroom! Seriously going to write some of these points down on post it’s and put them around the house!

i love this episode!
i love how relatable they are as they discuss this topic! they keep it super real and offer great advice 🙌🏼 i read a quote today that resonated with me and i thought of this episode- “when little people are overwhelmed with big emotions, it’s our job to share our calm, not join their chaos.” 💗
kmlazare
So Much Yes!!
This episode seriously is on point! AND if you say you don’t have mom rage, you’re lying! I would like to add this....“If you walk by my house and hear me yelling, it’s not yelling. I call it MOTIVATIONAL speaking for people that don’t want to listen.” 😂
SeipertAbigail
Love this!
I just listened to the first episode about jealousy and learned SO much! I left so encouraged and have so many take aways. You ladies are real, encouraging, and very insightful! Thanks for an amazing episode and I can’t wait to hear more!!
Chasing Sweet and Simple
Great Synergy
These two have a great podcasting chemistry and have the honorable goal of talking about what makes one 'better' as a person, parent, or professional. It's a candid talk between two people who may share similar goals but approach them differently. Not enough people are talking about this topic out in the open so I commend them.
mustang30
Relatable!
I loved this first episode and can’t wait for more. The topic was so relatable and some of the points were so applicable too. Also love the term better-ish because it made me feel like okay this isn’t someone telling me I can do it all and be great at it all. It’s okay if I’m just better-ish. Also love the idea of doing things for you, not doing them just to share! Thanks ladies! Love the podcast!

Love it!
I always look forward to podcasts where I can also learn more about myself.
My favorite part was about adding “yet” to sentences vs saying you “can’t” about dreams you have- keep pushing yourself to be a better version of yourself. I love that you’re tying to encourage people to push others to our very best! This was great.

Awesome

Love the podcast!
I’ve been following MaLyn for a few years now, on Instagram and I was so excited when she announced she was creating a podcast with her friend. The first episode was fantastic, jealously the ugly green elephant in the room! 😂 I appreciate that these fellow podstars (podcast stars, similar to rockstars but much cooler) are proposing perfection, but suggesting that we just strive for better performance in our roles as moms, wives and women!
Looking forward to many more episodes and all the beautiful universe vibes from these podstars! 👩🏻🎤

So relatable! So good!
Such an awesome first episode! Not only did I laugh, but I also connected so much to basically everything that was covered. Love hearing about topics that aren’t talked about but that everyone can relate to! Can’t wait for the next episode 🙌🏼

They had me laughing and really thinking at the same time!
I love the honesty and vulnerability from Angie and MaLyn of the Better(ish) podcast. The episode of jealousy was amazing and helped open my eyes better to what makes me jealous and how to better handle my jealousy, but also how to help my daughter with her feelings of jealousy. Can’t wait for the next episode!
