Have enjoyed this podcast for years, but it has become a summerhouse podcast lately. They should take that stuff to the bravo pod

I think they’re fun and funny and I like listening to them figure out pop culture as someone who also doesn’t follow too much. I don’t mind a little Bravo but don’t they have a dedicated one for those thoughts?? It’s too much. There has to be more going on than Summer House??

I love this podcast no matter what combo of women is on. Feels like I’m catching up with friends on a weekly basis. They also crack me up. Highlight of my week.

I usually love the show, especially when Jordana is on, but I just had to turn it off halfway through. Sami and Aleen are constantly interrupting each other and trying to get their point of views across without actually listening to each other. It is really grating. I’d recommend putting more structure to the episode and letting each other get the other’s thought out 🥴

I really enjoy how naturally the conversations flow between Aileen and Jordana. They have great chemistry, and I love listening to them—not just on this podcast, but also when they appear on other shows or collaborate with different hosts and podcasters. That said, it’s becoming harder to listen with the current dynamic due to what feels like unnecessary interruptions. I don’t like putting anyone down, but it does affect the overall listening experience.

I really like Sami on Instagram and on her news podcasts but on this show she interrupts a lot, is a know it all and a contrarian. It is more noticeable now that Jordana is not present. I mean this as constructive criticism. She should work on allowing others to talk without constantly interrupting.

Lately feels like aleen just talks about random parts of her life that she thinks are goofy or takes that she thinks are so unique and quirky but are actually just kind of boring. This is a pop culture podcast, not a personal journal

Enough with the political comments already! That’s not what this show is presented to be about. If that’s changing, update the show description. As someone else mentioned, if I wanted that I’d listen to another show. You’re alienating half of your audience. I know Sami doesn’t care, but your bottom line might.

I’ve listened for years but the political undertones are enough and have me skipping episodes instead of being a regular listener. If I wanted to hear about politics, I’d go to a different show. Even in this week’s episode, I tried listening but early on, politics were brought up and Sami drops her opinions nonstop. I don’t want to listen for that type of content, so it’s not for me anymore sadly.

Allen seems super sweet but Omg she should not be a podcast host. It feels as though a lot of the time she is speaking just to the hosts vs the audience. She goes off on these strange tangents, break into song, etc. it’s outrageous and makes it so hard to listen to. Topics and tangents are irrelevant. .🤍

Used to love this podcast and the banter between all 3 ladies. Sami is insufferable to listen to. Everything has a political dig and undertone to it. Enoughhhhhh, keep it light.

I love the dialogue between all three- they all have opinions they can stand behind which I love! The only criticism I have is how contrarian Sami can be. I admire her opinions but even the simplest of things have to be clarified. It feels exhausting to listen to. Do we really need clarity on whether you’d describe something as not “vibing” (referencing the Ashley tisdale episode)?

You obsession to post Taylor in a negative light is just sad.

This podcast doesn’t need a 10 minute intermission every week of Sami doing a terrible monologue that is uncomfortable to listen to, embarrassing, and just downright bad, then to have Jordana and Aleen awkwardly. Tell her it’s good for no reason. Sami takes over too much of the podcast. With three houses it feels like it’s separated 70% Sami talking, with only the remaining 30% left for Aleen and Jordana. Sami speaks over them on every subject, and has to argue everything, and in the end you can tell Jordana and Aleen just relent because they don’t feel like listening to Sami bulldoze the whole time. It makes it so hard to listen to.

Leaving 5 stars but I can’t with Sami. She has to disagree with everything that the other two say. The acting monologues are very awkward to listen to and would be best kept within her acting class. P.s. I don’t think she’s really acting so much as reading a long paragraph out loud in a dramatic voice.

Every week, this podcast is the Friday smile I work for. Definitely have a parasocial relationship with these girls, but nonetheless it makes me happy!

Jordana and Aleen are so relatable. Sami tends to be a contrarian to both of them. Can we stop with Sami’s acting monologues?

Constantly says it’s unavailable and I can’t listen to the new episodes when they drop. Have to wait at least a week. Seems to happen with all betches media podcasts. Super annoying.

This podcast is entertaining and a nice, easy listen to get your mind off other things. I catch myself laughing out loud listening to their banter and I look forward to their episodes each week. Huge fan of all things Betches and this podcast is no different! Especially loved the book club series and hope it comes back! ETA: the producer is talking enough that he needs a mic! It’s so hard to hear him which makes it confusing when the hosts are responding to him but you’re only able to hear part of the conversation.

I am SO excited for Jordana 😭 hearing you announce your pregnancy/surrogacy made me audibly gasp & make tears well up. Congratulations J - can’t wait to listen to the full story on oversharing ❤️❤️❤️

Love the dynamic of childhood-turned-lifelong girlfriends. Jordana makes me laugh. Aleen is earnest. And Sami.. Sami is defensive—for some reason, she has to contradict everything and can never “agree to disagree.” I’ve been binging the show and Sami’s commentary has become exhausting.

Between all the giggling and talking over each other, this podcast is becoming hard to listen to.

I love Jordana and Aileen but Sami is frustrating to listen to. She presents herself like such a know it all and talks down to them. I don’t know how they deal with her. When Aileen isn’t there, it’s even worse as she is not specially awful to Jordana. Not receptive, and always countering anything Jordana says. U Up still reigns the supreme show of all Betches content.

I wanted to like but the amount of times they talked over each other with loud vocal fry was not the vibe

I wish gen x had a pod similar to this where they discussed all things pop culture bc the betches girls make this gen xer feel left out all the time. Not your fault. That’s who you are. Just wishing self help ppl weren’t the only gen x ones with pods. (And yes, I’ve been listening to Amy Poehler when she has a guest on that I care about.)

Really expected more from this podcast since I love Jordana’s other podcasts but episode with the American Eagle jeans controversy was so bad. Also no Jordana on the episode. Sammy and Aileen sounded bitter and boring instead of fun and interesting. Not for me. Not everyone hates the Sydney Sweeney jean’s campaign for AE. Yes, that’s why their stock rose 20%.

I used to love this show and look forward to it every week. Now it really feels outdated and out of touch, with major undertones of hating on women that really make it a bummer to listen to.

The reason people took it so far online and couldn’t just let it be “a funny moment and move on” is because Americans are so starved of seeing actual justice meded out to rich and powerful people. Sami even says this wouldn’t have played out if it happened in a place like France. Well, yeah! Here, the rich and powerful rarely receive any sort of comeuppance except reputation ruin. Average people don’t have a lot of sympathy for the CEO of an AI company (why should they?)

Betches was a big part of my young adulthood, but I had to stop listening. Between the juvenile beeping when they curse and the fact that they now seem so uninformed about pop culture (which is what this pod is supposed to be about!), I had to unsubscribe. I would gladly listen to Sammy if she had a cohost who knew what was happening. Genuinely question if Jordana is online at all, she’s always completely oblivious to what Sammy and Aleen are talking about (and not in a way that’s fun or relatable, but in a way that’s painfully out of touch.)

Please for the love of god you have to stop the bleeping! If you want to drop a censored version in addition to the regular that’s fine. But the bleeping is really loud and jarring and spiked my cortisol up! I listen to this to chill out 😭😭😭 I love this pod normally (except all the ads, especially that awful cash register sound on the Shopify ads) and will adjust my rating higher if you get rid of these low-rent sound effects

Love the show! Jordana there is a smart birdhouse called Birdify. It’s not invasive to the birds. You get notifications. High quality sound and audio. A couple friends of mine have them!

Was looking for a recap as someone who is curious but too impatient to watch shows. These are conversations and opinions about shows and celebrities, not full recaps. Also thought she was joking about the over-the-top valley girl speak and vocal fry at first, sadly it wasn’t a joke.

I love this podcast, but Sammy interrupts way too often.

The things you crack up at are not funny and it’s very grating and annoying. I am here trying to be interested in the things you’re saying, but the obnoxious intense giggling is ridiculously unfounded and grating. Please don’t.

I used to listen religiously for the pop culture headlines for years but for the past 6 months the episodes are infrequent and when they do record, the episodes are short and all about themselves (barely any pop culture). Was able to phase out the show (with there being so many pop culture podcasts) but disappointed the show went down hill like that.

As a Catholic listener, I’m not offended at all by the pope jokes or JD Vance memes. I think they are hilar. What actually bothers me is Sami saying things as facts when she doesn’t know anything about them. This isn’t the first time she talks about Catholics like she is one, and if these things were said about any other religion, people would be outraged. Also, conclave was an offensive movie for Catholics and the Catholic church has the upmost respect and honor for women and nuns (hello…mary?), etc. Rant over. Other than that the pod is great, just please be more respectful of our religion, even if you don’t understand.

The segment pertaining to random gossip about regular people noone knows is completely unnecessary and was very boring so I skipped over it. The whole pod felt rushed to accommodate all these bizarre segments and it felt like we only got maybe 15 mins of what the previous Betches pod gave. Except for the Rick and Chelsea topic there was nothing else in this episode. Hopefully based on feedback this will be improved on else the whole pod would just feel a bit lackluster.

Not sure what I expected but the white lotus finale coverage was so shallow and disrespectful to the actors. To spread rumors about an affair between the cast members (one of them married) is beyond childish. Expected more from a group of women especially
