Come for the singing, stay for the comic talk!
A weekly listen as Dave digs into the comic highlights of the week. Always thoughtful in his perspective and entertaining in his presentation. Also - a serviceable singer and stays appropriately hydrated. And definitely check out his website and comic reading guides!

Inclusion and diversity police ruin comics
All this podcast ever talks about is how the past has horrible sexist writing and no queer visibility, although it was a much different world. Three guys yak about nothing, it’s called reality you can’t change that. they started with the inclusion crap, the liefield jokes are pretty horrible and honestly annoying, we get it you don’t like him. Don’t you dare look at their most recent blog post titles DC 2021 review where they just talk about diversity in comics and bring up accusations of white writers dangerous acts against females but not linking any actual criminal charges or guilty verdicts. I’m sure Nathan probably believes all women till it’s someone who doesn’t agree with his political views. What a joke of a comic podcast.

He Just had his third kid so support ;)
Dave does an amazing job. The My Year in Marvel is a great trip down memory lane. Zach is a great foil Dave’s professor-like persona. It really is one of the best if not the best comic podcast out there.

Great Podcast to Learn About Comics
Dave is such a great encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to comics (especially the Marvel universe). The background information he provides is so helpful when reading current comics; it makes the current comics come more alive. Thanks Dave!

Great podcast to highten your Marvel reading experience!
The thought and genuine enthusiasm that Dave brings to each episode can't be applauded enough. Not only have I found the Comic Book Herald site to be the best resource to figure out the sometimes impossible to follow reading orders us Marvel fans have struggled with our whole lives, but the show provides a great outlet to share in the excitement and sometimes disappointment we have for these comics. I especially appreciate and love the Krakin’ Kakoa episodes as this reinvigorating chapter in the X-Universe deserves the attention and insightful conversation that Dave provides each show. Thanks for the amazing show and I highly recommend every Marvel reader check it out.

Outstanding
Dave and his website Comic Book Herald are an amazing resource for comic book fans everywhere. His intelligent and insightful reviews and recommendations are second-to-none. I am specifically writing this review to call out that the Creannotators segments are by far my favorite bits of podcast content out there. As a comic book writing hopeful, having access to these interviews is much appreciated. Keep up the good work!

It’s what I look forward to
I usually use Spotify for podcasts but I came over here specifically to leave a review because this podcast / video series on YouTube is just as important to me as the comics themselves. Dave at Comic Book Herald is where I go for ANY comic information I’m looking for and he always puts together the most incredible breakdowns. Highly highly recommend the podcast, YouTube channel, and website.

Top notch comicbook podcast
The man knows his stuff...he knows how to explain said stuff to you...and he probably has the best voice of anyone doing a comics podcast. Extremely informative show. Keep it up!

Another fantastic episode!
The guys continually refine and improve on all aspects of the show, and continually produce episodes that give just what I need from these early years of Marvel. Stoked to be along for the ride!

Great for comic nerds!
Dave’s guides on comics are some of the best out there. His website and this podcast make it easy for fans to find good jumping off points to delve into the hilariously complex worlds of Marvel and DC.
