What am I gonna listen to now on Fridays? You guys had a good show going a little corny once in awhile but, informative, funny and interesting. Good luck n fish on.

Sad to see the podcast end. The podcast has been both funny and informative, which I can’t say about most podcasts.

Joe don’t go. You have inspired in me and many of my friends a new found love affair with fishing. Especially with worms Your hard-core attitude and super sarcastic sensibility fits fishing so well. You need to know how well you represent heavy metal and fishing. I’ll be looking forward to hearing more from you.

I hate to hear the podcast is ending. If listenership is any part of the reason since Miles left it has to be Hayden’s laugh. He’s great otherwise but It is legit Spicoli annoying. Sorry, but true!

Easily my favorite podcast. Super funny and even occasionally informative. Their fishing reports nail the “local scene” in so many areas, we all know a Bob the garbage man or a down the road Darren.

Don’t stop being yous guys, eff’em if they whine about what words ya use or don’t. Their anise oil is weak if they gotta complain about free podcasts verbiage - tight lines boyz

If I hear one more commercial for black buffalo I will lose it. These guys run the same commercial back to back, and I’m a dipper and wouldn’t buy the stuff because of the commercials. Fix that and you got a 4 star podcast

After completing my goal of listening to every episode I can confidently say this show always brings knowledge and entertainment! Might have made me a better angler, might not have but one thing I know for sure is it made me a better human and who doesn’t want to be a better human. From Jawns to Jon Boats, pollution to prostitution, pro tips to flapping lips, this show is a must listen.

Love this show

A couple of days ago I wanted to find a fishing podcast that doesn’t put me to sleep….. (Tom Rosenbauer) This podcast has rejuvenated me and has gotten me pumped to fish again. That being said it has absolutely made me unproductive at work. I spent the last 20 hour of my work week getting weird looks from my co workers because I keep snickering to myself. I’m sure I’ll get fried soon but at least I have this podcast. I can always depend on Lance’s insults to make me fell better about myself. #GooganSquad

Grandpa taught me. A red devil spoon on the end of a braided metal leader brought you a pike. Nearly every time you cast it. My uncle taught me a Hula popper could bring you a large mouth with all the excitement of fish jumping and fighting. I taught my dad that fishing the Pantanal (worlds largest swamp primarily in Brasil) for 3 days could yield you a different type of fish every time you caught one. Not to mention the experience of the ecology and folk there that love it. Cayman tail lightly fried is something. One word of caution. Don’t get it near your forehead. Your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get it.

You mean to tell me Matt Rinella is Santa? Complaining about influencers, headed to the bahama’s to not flyfish, and the Michagan Cricket? #heartbroken lol

Joe is one of the most unlikeable personalities ever. Absolutely the WORST pod from the Meateater brand.

Have loved this show since episode 1; however, there needs to be a 2 hour minimum show length! Loving new host , but have you ever noticed he kind of sounds like Buffalo bull/Chris from family guy?

These guys are freaking hilarious! I am late to the show, but I am stoked to listen to every episode. Solid entertainment.

Overall best fishing podcast. Great humor , lots of good info presented.

I get excited about Fridays. Used to be it was because it was Friday. These days I pop awake and know I get to listen to a new episode of BENT on my way to and from work. Imagine my dismay when I heard today that Miles is moving to New Zealand and leaving the show. I felt like my dad just told me he was going out for a pack of smokes. Why? People telework every day. The current format works with Joe in PA and Miles in Mt. Might as well be Chile and Timbuktu. I do confess having enjoyed Ben OBrien on The Hunting Collective, and thought it was nice to hear Lance V’s farewell to Miles. Those are two unrelated statements. #ihopelancediesofdickcancer

When the smallies aren’t biting and it’s not quite mud shark river season yet, Bent gets me through the day. When I have to sharpen old EWG Ned jigs because I don’t want to buy more, and it’s too cold to fish but not quite hard water season yet, Bent helps ease my lack of fishing pains.

I just can’t listen to this thing anymore. Joe is fun and engaging as he has always been but I can’t do another week of Miles aka the Debbie Downer of the podcast world. If this were just Joe I’d find a way to give this thing 10 stars.

Joe and Miles have perfect chemistry. The East coast and West coast viewpoints complement each other perfectly. And Phil the audio engineer is a gentleman and a scholar. They all get better every week. This is my favorite podcast by a landslide. Perfect blend of real issues and bulls*#t. It’s a must listen for anybody who enjoys fishing. I pity the fool who doesn’t rate this 5 stars. Seriously, it’s really good. My kids even like it.

This show started off very awkward and clunky, I almost quit listening but I stuck with it and am glad I did. The guys have gotten better and better with every episode and now I look forward to listening. Very informative and have me constantly cracking up. Keep up the good work!

Just getting back into fishing and Bent is big part of it. Not only do Miles and Joe give you the skinny on fisheries and fishermen all over the country, but they really dive into conservation and how we all need to wake up and do our part to keep the waters we enjoy healthy and alive. This podcast is both educational and at times very funny. Thanks guys and keep it going. Das!!!… Boat!!!

Joe is great and funny. Miles can be cringe and awkward. When he speaks like he writes it’s better.

As a non fishing person I look forward to Friday’s and the new episode of Bent. I love the interesting topics of fish news and the different segments each week. The bar segment has me wanting to travel to all the ones they have featured and Lance V is the best with his tips for you tube videos (need more Lance V). I have tried to find Lance V on u-tube but as of yet have not been able to, I guess I am just not looking in the right area of the Utube. Might I suggest that Meateater higher him as one of Meateaters influencers and put his videos in their channel? Keep at it guys looking forward to Friday!!!
