I am so moved by this!

Will everyone be back? I enjoy being part of the group! I miss them, will they be back for season 3?

And it was good for first couple episodes but then seemed to turn to a script and not be organic (term they kept using in podcast) It also turned and pushed a social agenda that I don’t subscribe, again-unnatural And one more, it’s based on ppl wanting to live in LA which is very unnatural to want to live in such a socialist, insane, political corrupt place, oh wait the weather is good though-whomp whomp

As a single father, this is not funny!

It’s hard to accept that this platform supports this show and in the Bubble. This feels phony & superficial compared to the importance of ITB. And the tie-ins with the sponsoring ads are insulting. Lemonada, you can do better.

I am overflowing with perspectives and lived experiences of 28-48 year olds and Gloria and the entire cast give me a vibe I’ve never had from a podcast. I am hungry for the wisdom, wit, and window into the lives of the golden generation!

An entertaining and honest look into the lives of those overlooked in traditional media. Love the show and can’t wait for more from BEING Studios! 😌

I absolutely love what Lemonada is doing with this all new audio-reality genre than they have created in podcasting. BEING Golden is such a fun look into the lives of a really fun cast who is living their best lives and chasing their dreams as they age. I can’t wait for more episodes to drop so that I can find out what happens to Buzz!!

If people took the time they’d normally spend writing rancid reviews to instead listen to people talk, maybe they’d feel golden, too. Growing old rocks.

As a huge Golden Girls fan and a credited reality tv nut!! This podcast was made for me! The characters are amazing -I love Buzz’s storyline! 5 stars !!!!

This is such a great podcast! It provides so much insight into growing older and to see that there’s so much to look forward to, no matter what your age. I’m 50 and there’s nothing like this out there, I look forward to listening to all of this series.

I was really surprised at how much I loved this show. I’m not really a reality tv person so was skeptical, but this show is so impressive in its thoughtful approach and manages to be super compelling and binge-worthy without being trashy or mean at all! The stars all seem like people you’d want to be friends with. Another great Lemonada show that feels kind and somehow uplifting even when tackling tough topics. Update: just listened to the new series with the seniors- such a great concept and great cast! Keep it coming!

What a cool concept for audio! Refreshing and new and it works! Interesting stories, I seriously laughed and cried. I cannot wait to hear what this new cast of Seniors has in store for us, sounds entertaining for sure!

News flash- if you don’t like what you’re listening to, turn it off and move on :) It’s not a surprise that almost all of the 1-star ratings are from transphobic individuals with no respect. In other words, the ratings page is just full of trolls. This podcast is amazing, funny, and optimistic. Please give it a listen.

More narcissism than one should be exposed to

Thought this show was really well done. Actually feels like a reality show… but about a topic that matters and everyone could learn from. Thoroughly enjoyed!

I loved this podcast SO much, Mariana is my favorite, I wish the series would continue! I’m thankful to all of them for sharing their stories.

The vulnerability and honesty as we follow each person through the ups and down of navigating a trans existence is critical to fostering empathy and understanding in the cis community, but more importantly trans listeners get to see themselves in the experiences of the cast and know that they are not alone.

I love listening to the people featured on this show! It feels like they’re my friends after following them for the past few months. Thanks for putting yourselves out there and letting us listen in to your lives. 💜

Wonderful podcast, listened to it all in one day!

This podcast does offer an interesting, howbeit extremely limited perspective. It seems most of the hosts live in "normal LA life" that the average person can't relate to. They are extremely self focused and can't see how their life affects anyone else, only demand that everyone live up to their choices. They only mention in passing the truly painful and debilitating physical effects of transitioning and focus on the emotional damage that comes from not "accepting your true trans self." This content is dangerous to people considering transitioning since it gives pleasant, easy expectations. This podcast literally throws children's rights under the bus since one host wants a biological child, therefore they will use lab methods to fit that person's desires. The emotional and mental damage donor-conceived children carry is terrible and painful, and they're not allowed to talk about it because it "damages" trans rights. So sad. I would t have seen this podcast except Apple thought it was great enough to put it on suggested.

Ok so you’d think that there’s already plenty of audio reality, right? I mean, there’s a LOT of documentary series and audio nonfiction. Well, I listened to one episode, and the audio reality thing clicked. It really feels like a reality TV show in a way that I haven’t heard in another podcast. And I love these characters!

I’ve learned so much from Jeffrey, Mariana, Chloe and Sy about being your authentic self. And I so appreciate their vulnerability in committing to this podcast. I’ve laughed out loud—boobie piñata, been on the edge of my seat—Chloe talking about her upcoming surgery, welled up tears— when Mariana spoke about going back to Guatemala, excited and hopeful— when Jeffrey was prepping for a TV writer interview. I’ll be incredibly sad when Being Trans ends because Jeffrey, Mariana, Chloe and Sy have been my teachers. Thank You.

It is helpful & hopeful to hear Sy’s story. I am a trans guy with a cis guy. I transitioned after marriage & parenthood. It’s so reassuring to find some parallels out there & to know I am not alone, and neither is my husband.

Y’all are the scum of the earth and I hate you. Please respect my opinion and stop being trans. I hope all of your families are disappointed in your horribly wrong decisions.

Promoting mental Illness

As a conservative with trans family I tried to listen to gain insight. The trailer immediately made fun of Republicans and was filled with fast talking and giggling. Good luck but it’s a thumbs down.

How can you be trans AND non binary? And I dont want to be a hater or any thing, but why change your gender? be happy and appreciative that you have a working body and dont change what GOD HIMSELF gave you! This is a sinful ordeal that can be so easily prevented! I know I’m not the perfect christian, but at least I don’t sin when I can so easily prevent it! ESPECIALLY when it saves so much time, pain and effort!

It’s so sad to see these MEN and WOMEN, who are the minority by the way, trying to make us believe that it’s possible to be “non binary”(which really just means I can’t define what a boy or a girl is). I really wish there was an option for 1/100000000 of a star. I’m not against the podcast per say because I believe you have the right to be able to say what u want. Would not recommend tho. Go listen to something useful like a podcast on WHY DO I WANT TO CHOP OFF MY WENE AND LOOK LIKE MY MOM??
