Our identity as God's beloved sons and daughters has absolutely nothing to do with what we do, what we've done, or what we will do. But it has everything to do with who we are. As we're living as beloved sons and daughters, we often enter into different roles. We are wives and husbands and athletes or students. We're bosses were neighbors, we're friends. And all of these roles are important. And all of these roles can be used for our sanctification.  But when we mistake these roles as our primary identity, we're often left unfulfilled. Because you are his beloved son and you are his beloved daughter, and there is nothing you can do to change it. And he just wants to love you.   We invite you to take part in season 1 of, Behold. God sending his only son was not above the human condition. He was not above human suffering. Jesus experienced grief, sorrow, sadness, and even stress in his everyday life. When we sin, we do things like choose anger, pride, greed, lust and to be selfish. All of these things are often the easy choice to make because these choices are quick fixes for holes that we feel inside of our hearts, holes that are unsatisfied desires, or wounded desires. Desires to be chosen to be heard and understood. All of these desires are written on every human heart, and God would not have made us this way if He couldn't fulfill those desires. That's what being in a relationship is, to be loved by the Father. To receive all that the Father is giving us and that we give it all back.
