Actually really enjoyed the episode I listened to, but it just cuts off mid sentence after and advertisement. Had to go find the episode on YouTube, the ads are also on the YouTube video. Doesn’t seem hard to just double check your upload is the same length.

its completely inconsistent. the last episode cut off before the end even happened. And the episode before that are repeated episodes. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but this pod is completely unprofessional and you can hear these stories from people who actually care and take time to upload the entire episode and not just part of it to fill a sponsorship obligation.

This podcast sounds like a middle school student wrote a report and had to read it in front of the class, but she’s nervous, so she reads too fast with a bit of a monotone, and emphasizes the wrong words in many sentences. Like nails on a chalkboard. Couldn’t even get through one episode.

I want to love more true crime podcasts. But the host said “incrimidate”, pronounced solice like “soulless”. It sounds like she is trying to sound like a newscaster. But it was a recommendation from a high schooler in my Criminal Justice class. Props to editing out/not saying like (which is 1 reason why I find Crime Junkie unlistenable).

i’m so torn about this podcast. i appreciate the length and the fact that she gets right into the story every episode. i enjoy her telling of the story for the most part as well. her mispronunciation of so many words does bother me. also her use of the word “ironically” drives me so crazy. like before you use a word over and over again please look up the definition so you can use it in the correct way and context 😭😭

Girl you had me rewinding to make sure I heard that right 🤣🤣🤣 that was hilarious and you should put more of that personality in there and not be worried about offending anyone. The mispronunciation comments from others - wonder how accurately their pronunciation would be if they created their own hour long podcast on the regular. It’s great content and you’re well educated. Great pod cast! But the last 4 episode it’s all the same case.

A lot of grammar mistakes and often has to repeat herself. Whoever edits her videos needs to be fired and she should practice or even write a script to help her out with all her errors. She also just re-uploaded a podcast just recently which is annoying.

I love how she gets straight to the case/story! Great podcast!

it kind of cracked me up how confident she is mispronouncing so many words but other than that, I like it I just don’t understand how so many words are mispronounced do you even listen to them before you put them out? so much editing needs to be done. so many mistakes

I’ve been listening to the show for over a year now consistently and I really enjoy the pace and the tone of the voice. What I don’t enjoy is recently i’ve noticed that there are clips of extremely traumatic phone calls in these episodes and it seems like they’re in almost all of the new ones. Not only are these phone calls traumatic for people to hear unexpectedly, but they’re also extremely insensitive to the family, who actually experienced this horrible traumatic experience, especially when we’re talking about dead children. I believe the show was better when it did not include long horrifying clips of people finding their children dead.

The grammar mistakes, mispronunciations,mixing up names, repeating herself multiple times, all of the literally and actually, some times speculating details about the case when you can google and find the information… I think Hailey needs to spend more time in post, listening to her episodes, writing the script, and researching.

The constant “literal” and “actually” is so distracting. It sounds like the host loses her place in the story and keeps repeating herself. The stories are likely interesting but I had a hard time getting to the end.

I love Hailey’s voice and love when she hits us with a “Whilst” 🥰 a great podcast to keep you chill while covering sometime graphic content.

Behind you is one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to she get right to the case and doesn’t waste a second she does do sponsors ever 10 seconds and might do one in her podcast it is amazing and love it.

Host needs to listen to their own podcast. She is constantly getting the victim and suspect names mixed up.

I love this podcast because she jumps right in, tells the story very straight forward, a reasonable opinion here and there, and it’s done! Her voice is also so calm and soothing, I love it.

I absolutely love this podcast I especially listen to this when I’m at work. Idk what’s with all these rude comments about how she mispronounce words.. She’s only human give her a break! The grammar & pronunciation is so bad this podcast has to be parody.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t get past the atrocious grammar and pronunciation mistakes. One or two is fine but this is an audio medium, you really need to be able to speak concisely.

She gets right into the stories, very informative, and she has a great flow of reporting her findings. Definitely recommending to everyone!

The content of this podcast is great, but the host's habit of ending sentences and phrases in questions is off-putting.

hey hailey, i’ve been watching you on youtube since the beginning and was one of the first to run to your podcast when it was first released. at first, it was tolerable and gave the benefit of the doubt, but slowly declined. the same words are repeated over and over and over again. pronunciation is absolutely horrible. i was very excited for this podcast as i listen to it during work. the repetition of “whilst” is a huge bother, along with the many editing issues and cuts. misinformation is also in this podcast. me personally, i feel that your voice seems to be monotone ever since you stopped uploading the grwm true crime videos. i can’t deny that you work hard on these podcasts, but feel that you should take the criticism coming from the listeners and put it into action. honestly i can’t tolerate to listen to this podcast and thought that maybe it’d get better when you adjust to making podcasts but it seems that at least for now, i think that this is poorly put together. i truly believe in you and hope for nothing but the best. please take the criticism <3

New listener here. First few episodes were tolerable but it got worse and worst. Ending every statement/sentence in question form.

I listened to one episode, S2:E3 on Chad Entzel’s homicide. There were so many false statements, for example, there were not cigarettes thrown all over the house. No cigarettes or cigarette butts we’re recovered. There were no cameras inside the house that Nikki Entzel turned off. There was one camera outside on the garage. And there is so much more. This whole trial is available to watch on YouTube. There’s no reason to be this wrong other than not doing your research. Clearly can’t believe this “true” crime podcast with so many false statements.

Really poor writing….couldn’t get through one episode with the repetitions and inappropriate phrasing.

Hard to believe a grown woman can’t pronounce words or use the correct tense. Especially on a podcast where you SPEAK.

Hailey Elizabeth has a soothing voice, which makes her podcasts easy to listen to. The cases are short and not super in depth deep dives as compared to other true crime podcasts who cover the exact same cases. It’s fine. What gets me is the editing. It’s like no one looks back and notices that there are times when she repeats herself after a harsh cut, using different words. Like she forgot to edit those parts out. It happens in most of her episodes, which seems sloppy.

i unfortunately have to unsubscribe, this episode was my last straw.. why are you repeating the same thing literally 10 times????? we get it, he watched her in the club grinding on men. what was the point of covering this case when you gave no information what so ever besides one small part that you kept repeating.

I really WANT to like Hailey's delivery, but if she wants to give credence to her podcast, she needs to at LEAST learn how to properly pronounce words like "indictment" and "jurisprudence," considering the subject matter is true crime.

I really like the story’s they are really good but some of the stories don’t have a finish I wish she would pick like finished stories but overall its good

This podcast is a complete cash grab. Hailey doesn’t even bother to research on her own, she just picks a case that ten other people have copied and copies them. Pick true crime speakers who value families, justice, victim spotlights, and respect. This isn’t it at all. ASK YOURSELF; WOULD THE VICTIMS FAMILY BE OKAY WITH WHAT IS BEING SAID ABOUT THE VICTIM?

Nobody is perfect and I love this podcast bc of that. Hailey E is amazing and yes she mispronounced words at times but who doesn’t. I love how real she keeps it. It’s def becomes a comfort podcast for me. Thank you, H.E!!

I usually love the story telling but lately there is no story build don’t say age, kids , or relationship. It’s giving lazy .
