An NFT is an asset that lives on a blockchain. What does that mean? it means they are protected by a smart contract that authenticates when it’s purchased. It gives the royalties directly to the artist with no middle man! It also creates legacy, so if the owner sells that NFT, the original artist is compensated forever.
