Love this group!
Great podcast. I will be re-listening to all their GoT casts while I mourn the end of this series. These podcasters are funny and insightful, such good commentary. (Would post 5 stars, except the sound levels are uneven between the different people talking.) Worth it regardless.

Love you Andrea. Calm down Julie. I'll miss you guys.

Great Pod
This is a great podcast except the angry whiney sister.

2 panelists ruin this podcast.
There are a few level headed and insightful perspectives(Yardley, Trin and perhaps 2 others), one person who seems to struggle with expressing coherent ideas with a limited vocabulary and another who seems extremely angry, abrasive and immature. I gave an honest and open-minded attempt at listening to this podcast but frankly, two people on the panel really drag the whole thing down into an incoherent, rambling mess that lacks the civility found in other discussion panel style shows.

Julie ruins this podcast
Before Julie entered this podcast, it was a legit and entertaining discussion on GOT. With Julie, it is basically the equivalent of listening to a high school lunch room discussion.

Gone downhill
Andrea is the only bright one in this podcast. Julie is so obnoxious and annoying and disrespectful. Please take her out of the panel please. Podcast has gone downhill with her.

Great podcast
To be honest I think this podcast is almost on par with The Game Of Thrones Podcast. It’s really a great and informed podcast

The Bells part 2 improvement
Giving your stars back. Much better conversation in the second part without The angry sister.

Worst podcast ever
I could not believe how awful this podcast was. Sound like a bunch of butt hurt Dany fans very disappointing in this podcast.

Can’t believe I’ve never left a review
I’ve been listening to Chris and the gang for a few years now and it is by far one of the most thorough and entertaining Game of Throne podcasts on the airwaves.

Awesome
Great podcast, no other podcast is a true community.

Politics
I got a few minutes in and the discussion immediately went to politics and feminism. I’m out. Talk about the show or talk about politics. Don’t do both.

Meh
I tried to like this podcast but it’s so disorganized. They’re always interrupting or talking over each other. I find Julie’s voice incredibly grating. Her lack of knowledge about the show and the books makes it even more unbearable. She’s constantly speaking over everyone and insisting she is right(most of the time she’s wrong) Furthermore, Chris complaining about the reviews is incredibly childish. According to him, you can’t give a bad review if they don’t know the names or how to pronounce them. This is a podcast about the show, I don’t think it’s asking much to remember characters or how to pronounce their names. Hopefully they can get it together and I’ll be able to change my rating.

Amazing
Can’t hear the podcast past two weeks. Very disappointed.

Intelligent Speculation and Reviews
Had to get through the distractingly liberal use of expletives, which frequently seem uncalled for, and dilute the power of emphasis and potential for humor these words can provide when used judiciously. It has been worthwhile to set this aside. These are clever people, well-versed in show and books, and overall pretty entertaining.

Favorite GOT podcast
What I love about these guys are their differing personalities and their shared love of a show/books that I also love. They seem like the kind of hardcore GOT nerds that would be fun to hang out and watch the show with. There are plenty of other GOT podcasts out there and some leave a bit to be desired, but this one is great. I also enjoy catching these guys on Facebook live, as they have some pretty good discussions. Keep up the great work, guys!

EEEEK Julie is back
Just when Andrea started being less pushy and I enjoyed her knowledge, she is gone and for some unknown reason Julie is back. She is overbearing and has no real knowledge of the show/books. Please send her back to where you had her stored.

Good content; poor sound quality
The podcasters are really good, but some episodes are unlistenable because of the recording
kellyrios19
Cringe worthy
The hosts do not even take the time to learn main character names. Terrible jokes, terrible pacing, just unlistenable.

Cool podcast for Thronies.
I like this show. They are thorough when not taking spoilers and acting as though it were their own theories and ideas.

Favorite podcast
Have listened to a few different GOT podcasts and this one is by far my favorite. They really try to incorporate their listeners feedback into the podcast and I love how it’s not just about the show but the lore behind this amazing series. Hosts are great and are true fans of the series where other podcasts just seem like show critics. I highly recommend this podcast to any true game of thrones fan!!

Tried to listen to an episode and I'm a half hour in and they haven't gotten to the episode topic yet so I'm out.

It's cool but...
***EDITED-8/13/17*** So, I am changing my review to 5 stars. I don't know if they took suggestions from other reviews or what but the revamped version of this podcast is very enjoyable. Maybe it is an experience thing too because the girl who reads the Facebook stuff is doing way better now. The girl that always hogs everything (Andrea) has stopped being so pushy with her opinions...has started speaking in a way that is tolerable to folks. I like it now. Glad I gave it another chance and I'm extremely glad the format has changed and has become more streamlined. Calling on everyone to give their opinion on scenes has worked wonders. And since they got rid of the hosts sister - there hasn't been any silly arguments and loud cursing and what not. ~~~Original review~~~ I've been listening to this podcast all season. I actually like it. My fav is Yardly (idk if I'm spelling it right) but everyone contributes equally and it is pretty entertaining. However, I always end up turning it off by the middle of each episode because the girl who reads the Facebook posts does such a bad job of it. Stumbling over words, lots of huh ummm errrrr before getting to the point - when she is simply reading and it shouldn't be so difficult. It just gets annoying episode after episode. Also I looked forward to the last ep because John would FINALLY get to have his Jon Starks King of the North moment...but then there was some new girl (new to me) who completely dominated the episode from beginning to end. I was totally looking forward o the group reaction to everything that happened in this ep and she took over every single solitary point. It seemed like HER podcast. Very disappointing since it was such a great season finale.

Only as good as the worst player
I genuinely enjoy this podcast but it almost feels painful to listen to Andrea anytime she is asked a question. It's blatantly obvious that she does not enjoy doing this and just brings the entire episode down. I'd say if she wants out then let her out... I'm nearly hesitant to listen every time lately for the simple fact of not wanting to listen to her.

More nerdy tidbits!
I just wanted to write a quick review to say that the "woman who talks to much" is literally my favorite part of the podcast. All her nerdy tidbits are why I listen. Thank you!

Awful
Possibly the worst GOT Podcast out there. Too many people, one who doesn't even know their Twitter ID.

Not worth it
I'm surprised this has so many good reviews. I agree with another reviewer that stated this group is not knowledgeable about their source material. I listen to GoT podcasts to get more insight and/ knowledge about what I just watched. This, on the other hand, is on par with listening to a bunch of randoms talking about the show at a bar. They mispronounce names and their theorizing is not based on any solid evidence from the books or the show. Have they even read the books? This should not be called the "unofficial official podcast." There are other GoT podcasts out there that do this A LOT better.

Exceptional!
Interactive with Facebook live and he's weekly. Worst part of his show is John's unapologetic/blind love of Starks, who aren't as clean cut as he believes. Keep up the great work Chris!

One of My Favorite GoT Podcasts!
I have listened to quite a few GoT podcasts, and this one has an original approach in sharing & analyzing episodes. Yes, some of the co-hosts are very passionate about their opinion but should be! Appreciate the insight into the books (as I have not read the books) and it still doesn't spoil anything because you never know what D & D will do with the show. This is also one of the few podcasts that continues to record shows even when the show season is over.

Two of the hosts are great. If only they would ditch the bumbling contrarian.

Twice disappointed
I tried, really tried, to keep listening but I just couldn't do it. I subscribed during season 6 and then just now while waiting for 7. The content is usually interesting but they need to be more solid with their facts. And, as others have noted, the bossy time hog commenter is just too much. Without her the podcast might find its voice but, for me, that one person ruins it all.

Greatest GoT Podcast
I just want to tell everyone how amazing this podcast truly is. You have avid book readers and show watchers who are kinda enough to share their knowledge with us. Not only that but they each pick a royal family that they prefer and will fight to death against each other proving why their family is superior above all all. This show is a must listen for all book readers and show listeners alike.

What's not to like.
Great content. Great panel. Relaxed theme, they all just go with the flow like a group of friends talking about their favorite things and people.

Keep up the great work!!
Love this podcast!! I've just started listening to all of the back episodes and there are so many awesome subjects. I can get my GOT fill without driving my friends nuts talking about it all of the time. Thanks for making a great podcast!!

Decent podcast but
I guess it's an ok podcast that gets put out very early compared to better, more informed ones. If you can get through about 1 hour worth of Facebook and Twitter comments, the 45 minutes of everyone ganging up to bicker at John (who's right more often than not), then the 2 hours of this show is for you. For me, I'd rather they trim the fat. What's the deal with John? I get a little joshing around every now and then but all the time is just plain annoying when he's the most knowledgeable person on the show. Reading All the fan posts is very much unbearable!

Great podcast #thronie
Love this podcast. Love the hosts and their varying point of views. Love their humor while still maintaining a serious conversation that stays on subject. Love that they discuss both the show and the books. Overall a great podcast and the first one I've found for game of thrones that I really enjoy and will continue to tune into in the future.

They Try...
It's a decent GoT podcast. However, the main host is obnoxious, most of the cast's voices are annoying, the girl who reads comments is so hard to listen to and can barely speak, and the other two guys just argue and offer zero coherent insight. You could basically get the same from listening to any group of dorks talk about the show. Listen to All Men Must Die instead.

Quickly Improved!
I listen to about 7 GOT podcasts a week (its what I use to work out). I started listening to behind the iron throne as a new addition for this season for my monday morning runs as no one puts out the show so early (kudos on that guys). At first I really didn’t like it, unfortunately due to the host’s sister who I know has been called out a lot. I’m sure she’s a lovely person but she was just very vocal and was the least knowledgeable and that made it hard when she was dominating the conversations. Since she has not been appearing on the show however, the podcast has quickly and dramatically improved and I don’t spend my time listening in a grimace. The other female is great, and whenever I internally correct the host she immediately actually does it. Also I enjoy John even with his crazy opinions, he does not dominate nearly as much, and although he’s stubborn he doesn’t solve his fights by yelling the loudest. Great improvement guys!

Great fun!
A great way to spend time after the show is with their live broadcast. Fun and informative!

Great podcast! And I MISS JULIE!!
My husband (book fan) and I (totally clueless) ventured down the rabbit hole and binged watched all of GoT. The show needed more explaining for me, so he told me to look up history of the lore on a podcast and this one came up. I have now binge listened to every episode and I look forward to new episodes on Facebook Live every Sunday night just as much as GoT. But, I'm really afraid a few negative comments have forced Julie out of the show. I LOVE JULIE! She's more like me, a show only watcher so her opinions are important to me and the dynamic of the show! Regardless, this podcast is fantastic. I would highly recommend listening and especially for earlier episodes on the extensive backstory!

Sleep don't come easy
Steadily climbing
So I read the previous reviews and decided to check out the podcast for myself. The one co-host, the one who shall not be named, wasn't on this show, and that helped the overall tone feel more even. I respect and appreciate the passion with which the co-hosts, or "generals," speak, but this can lead to talking over one another. It's not bad though, and everyone is good about letting others finish their points. The host Chris does a good job getting everyone's opinions, but it seems like the people I want to hear the most, speak the least. I would pay the iron price to hear a podcast with just Chris, Tang and Yardley. Chris really digs into the episodes and you can tell that Tang and Yardley have solid ideas and points and play really well off each other, but they always seem to be cut off by another co-host. That's not to say the other hosts are bad, because Sam is like the factual safety net when they might drop the ball from time to time on particulars. She also has great insight, but sometimes seems intimidated by the situation. Yardley brings interesting view points that most other podcasts don't even scratch the surface of, and while Tang often cracks jokes, I get the sense that he does it to break whatever tension might be present. The Stark loyalist, Jon? You can tell he's read he books and had an immense amount of knowledge, but it honestly gets lost with all the "Starks are the bestest" talk. We know you love the Starks. We needn't be reminded every show. Especially when it gets in the way of him being completely objective. Overall I love the podcast and have a lot of back episodes to catch up on. Maybe the one who shall not be named will be on hiatus for a bit, and new and older, and possibly jaded, listeners can give it another go and see if it's improved from the last time they listened. Also, if you could bring back audio clips that might help everyone get into the mindset of the scene and might help the various scene discussions. But keep up the great work and I can't wait til the next episode!!!! Cheers!!

Holding the door
Wanted to rate higher
But as has been beaten to death by other reviewers, there is a serious problem with the sister of the host as a podcasting personality. I've heard her shout "I'm done, just done!" Too many times in the four episodes I tried. Protip: if you're going to talk in front of an audience learn how to express yourself properly. You're not "done" with the show, you watch it every week and talk about it for hours. What do you actually mean?
