
On this weeks episode I sit down with Easy Beach, an indie rock band from Detroit, Michigan. We start out talking about coming back from their hiatus and what is behind this new resurgence. Before we get to their latest single, we do a small break down of their discography and the transition into this new in the moment sound that they are doing. Speaking of new single, they recently released "Dual Jewel" which finds the duo doing a more raw style that makes you feel as though you are listening to the band play live. With this new single we talk about what it leads to and how we can hopefully see a self titled album and new tour in the spring. On this weeks episode I sit down with Mike aka Hotel Etiquette, a solo punk artist from Buffalo, New York. We talk about the start of Hotel Etiquette and how it went from a covid outlet to a new passion project. We also dive into responses that he received from the initial EP "Sex Questions" and the follow up LP "Ex Questions". Both of which are solid releases but you can also see the slight transition from punk into this new blend that is now Hotel Etiquette. Along with hearing about what we can expect to see from HE in the future, Mike talks about some of key moments from his time in music. Personally as a fan of Mike's previous project and being able to not only talk to him but getting to hear about his stories and hear how thankful and humble he is makes this my favorite episode to date. This is an album that showcases the multitude of what this band can do, from pop punk to emo to metal core. Next we talk about their upcoming acoustic EP which sees a few reimagined songs as well as one new one. On this weeks episode I sit down with Superdestroyer, an anonymous mixed-genre artist from Ohio. We start out talking about the start of this project and how he is able to get his ideas from pen to paper. We then dive into Superdestroyer's latest release "Goon", a spacey grunge album that mixes elements of grunge, post-hardcore, emo, and more. This is definitely a ride through the galaxy that you don't want to end! We cover everything from features to sound clips. Superdestroyer also co-owns/runs Lonely Ghost Records which is probably one of my favorite labels right now. We talk about starting the label and what its been like for them these past 4 years. On this weeks episode I sit down with Seaholm, a punk/midwest emo band from Michigan. We dive right into their latest full length "Its Raining Outside" which came out in July. This is one of my favorite releases this year, its mix of the upbeat instrumentals that are masking these deep lyrics just take it to another level. We go over everything from the responses that they have been getting to break downs of different songs. This was truly a fun episode with different tangents that have a mind of their own.
