Like having a cup of tea with a friend!
Love Kay’s podcast! I always feel like I’m sitting at her kitchen table with her, catching up on knitting, family, and farm. She has excellent tips and her “Down the Rabbit Hole” segment usually inspires me to add a couple patterns to my Ravelry favorites!

Really fun podcast!
Please listen to Kay's podcast.....she always sounds like she's smiling while recording - you just wish she were sitting across from you at a coffee shop. Of course she talks about her knitting - wins and fails (hey - we all have fails and it's good to know that others do too). Kay also has a segment: "down the rabbit hole" during which she talks about patterns that she likes. Also, there is some chatter about life on her farm - it's nice to hear little details of her life - it's so different from mine. She has great shownotes so you can listen in the car and if you need to refer back to something (like a pattern she mentions), you can go to her shownotes. Go listen - you won't be sorry!

More One skein wonders
Recently started enjoying this podcast. My sister lives in Johnston, SC so I feel the connection. If not too late, two other popular worsted weight one skein projects are decorative boot cuffs and fingerless mitts.

Rather boring
I must say its not super entertaining or engaging. I think a more creative approach is necessary for a podcast whose subject is almost entirely visual. A peruse of Ravelry would be much more satisfying that her verbal descriptions of books, patterns and colors.

Kay feels like a friend
As I listen to Kay, usually driving, I just want to enjoy sitting across the table with a cup of tea, knitting, and just visit about all she shares. Each of the segments are windows of her life, knitting, and family. I appreciate her honesty in knitting projects and the master knitters course. I have no desire to have a small farm but enjoy listening to others tell about it. Kay also enjoys running as I do, so I like when she mentions her runs.

Extremely Entertaining!!
Love everything about this podcast. The knitting information is very helpful, and the portion about farm life is so funny and endearing, I always end up smiling. As a hobby farmer with an orchard and chickens, I feel encouraged to hear some one else isn’t getting bushels of fruit because of early bloom/late freeze issues, or of ongoing chicken predator problems. I’m also getting very invested in following the Master Knitting Certification progress. Go For It, Girl!!! I’m rooting for you!!

Fun Listen for Knitters
I have been listening to the Bede Sisters podcast for awhile and always enjoy hearing about her knitting projects and her review of interesting patterns on Ravelry. She also tells about her farm life in South Carolina. If you’re a knitter or spinner, give this podcast a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

rabbit hole fun
This podcast is one of my favorite. It is short usually about 30 minutes so it's perfect when I don't have alot of time but want to take a short break. It's focus is knitting although she talks a little about other topics such as sewing and reading and life in general. The best part is down the rabbit hole where she discusses fun patterns for knitting that she has found on Ravelry. I listen to this podcast first. I have also bought yarn from The Bede Sisters and it is beautiful but she doesn't talk much about her yarn. It is not just an advertisement for her shop.

A New Friendly Chat
Truly feels like a knitting friend has just called to chat. Kay seems to appreciate each listener as she exclaims: "you came back!"
There are numerous knitting pattern ideas, details of how she found them along with her farm and family stories... Kay also has a great thread on Ravelry (the knitting etc social network.)
Give her a listen!

Charming and Enlightening
Kay's voice is so easy to listen to as she describes life on her farm and takes you down the rabbit hole of the latest knitting patterns. This is a great podcaster for the knitter, spinner, dyer, weaver, or anyone who is curious about those crafts.
