We are just two new mommas who have a need to explore this whole momma thing. Through our pregnancies and births we've realized that there's a disconnect between what hospitals and media want us to be as birthing mothers and who we innately want to be. We deserve to trust our bodies and our instincts when it comes to our health and our baby. We think the fact that we still say 'it takes a village to raise a baby" but our lives are far removed from something resembling a village has a lot to do with why we make the prenatal and postpartum decisions that we make. This has left us asking "how do we create a village so that we can feel supported enough to follow our innate wisdom?"
