So episode 9 is here with one of my favourite revelations yet. As we go on in life, one job to the next, we leave something behind, maybe we forget it, or just choose to bury it under truckloads of bills and life things.
In this episode, I think about some real facts of life, like when we learn to conform, and how that shapes how we carry ourselves on this planet.
Listen. Enjoy. And tell me what you think!

What does it take to hold all your varying emotions without judging yourself for feeling so much or so little of everything?
In the first edition of Story-Time, Neha shares her experience of celebrating a birthday during COVID19 and the global pandemic. In this quick story, Neha finds herself overwhelmed during her birthday week, navigating her emotions in a time when being positive feels more like currency rather than a means of expression.

With a global rise in domestic violence cases around the world, thanks to COVID19, support for vulnerable children, women, and men isn't easily available. What can you do if you're stuck at home with your abuser during quarantine?
Going to school and work may no longer be viable options for thousand of vulnerable children and adults all around the world, and while countries like France, India, and the United States have taken steps to provide support when needed, the biggest challenge is getting the information out there.
It's one thing to assume that no one you know could be abusive or being abused, we can still play our part to reach out to as many victims of domestic violence and abuse simply by sharing information they can use. You'll never know who might get to see it when they most need it!

After sitting on three pre-recorded episodes, Neha has finally come out of her pandemic state of depression to put out episode number six! This pandemic has had an impact on everyone in many different ways. Some people seem to be thriving creatively, while others can't seem to move a muscle. Those fortunate enough to keep their jobs are exhausted from having to overcompensate for not being physically around managers who need to "see" their team looking busy (who cares if they're actually working right?), while others are faced with uncertainty like never before.
But one thing that hasn't changed is peer pressure. Instagram seems to have brought with it a fresh new bout of Coronavirus/COVID19 peer pressure, with a big chunk of us feeling like we ain't Sh** if we ain't being super-life-transforming-creative and active during this traumatic time in human history.
Neha shares in this episode, her super-optimistic pandemic-wishlist, where she's hoping to become everything she never had the time to be before. While also recognizing that this no time to party, every reaction we have to this pandemic, is the right reaction. These are new waters we navigate through, and nobody is none the wiser (if that's how the phrase is used).

**I had some technical difficulties with Episode 5 so the AUDIO IS NOT THE BEST**
If you've ever felt the pressure of "I'll get to my dreams later" if you've ever felt that feeling of guilt that lingers and looms over you because you know you can use your time differently, yet you also feel paralyzed by the very thought it? Then you're gonna want to listen to this episode because you're really not alone!
A lot of times we put the things that matter the most to us away for 'later'. While sometimes that's just how things go, most other times, between the chores, the work, and getting through the everyday-ness of life, we tend to be in denial of how much we can do with our time. It could be true that so much time has passed that we don't even know what brings us joy apart from things like our spouses or children, but should life really be limited to happiness we receive from others?
In this episode, I try to understand what keeps me from giving my all to my passions and dreams. What's held me back through all these years, maybe I really have no talents, but I sure don't mind finding out so I can let go of the burden of the 'someday' I've left my dreams for,

Body-shaming is a very real aspect of peoples' lives. And it doesn't matter if you are overweight, underweight, average weight, there's *always* something not right about your body and people have a strange way of letting you know what they think about it. I've been told some of the strangest things by strangers and friends about my weight, from "aren't you tired of being fat" to " well at least your belly isn't bigger than the last time I saw it" and some other wildly insensitive comments from people who don't know anything about me.
In this episode, I'm opening up a little, and putting myself out there, as I share with you an incident that really made me think hard about the kind of world we live in. I don't know how much you will relate to this, but I know that a lot of you will on some level.
