In todays podcast I'm chatting with the lovely Hailey. Shes a mum of 2 sweet babies and she is also a L&D nurse and actually gave birth in the hospital she works at. She had 2 positive births with the OBs on her floor, I had a giggle when I heard her say that up until almost the very end of her 2nd labour she was up at the nurse counter chit chatting away with all of her girlfriends from work. Talk about feeling comfortable in your birthing space.
Please help me give the warmest welcome to Hailey Ryckman.

Catherine stories are amazing, not originally from Canada she talks about her births from being from the UK/Finland and the shift of having her other 5 babies over here. Shes had all different experiences and really learned a lot from each experiences and over time grew to really become an advocate for herself and her babies. She is such a treat and I cant believe we jam packed all of these great stories in one episode.
Welcome, Cathy.

Natalie and her hubsand Scott are from Ottawa ON. She gave birth to their two littles Cove and Eden, Cove was born in the birth centre and Eden was a very quick homebirth. She had a doula attend both births and is a huge advocate for Hypnobirth and also urges moms to get prepared for breastfeeding as she says she didn't prepare herself for it and she now tells everyone that it is important to educate and prepare yourself for that journey.

Chanelle Walsh and her husband are origonally from Ottawa, ON but moved to Sylvan Lake AB.
Nora their daughter is a Wedding Night baby who they conceived quite easily. Chanelle suffered from nausea until 20 weeks and around 38 weeks after some confusion between doctors about her fluid levels she did end up getting induced which was a long, drug out process but once things picked up things moved along quickly. She was in hospital 6 days total after some struggles with breastfeeding keeping them a bit longer.
