On this week’s “Beats on the Bricks,” hosts Alex and Max talk about the wild, weird, seemingly random story of Lil Nas X’s country-trap megahit “Old Town Road,” including its rise on TikTok, its initial entry onto the charts and the new remix featuring Billy Ray Cyrus.The two also talk about the tragic recent deaths of rapper and activist Nipsey Hussle and the members and touring manager of British indie pop duo Her’s.In lighter news, Alex and Max talk about Billie Eilish’s new album, 'WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?', as well as fresh singles from Vampire Weekend and Mac DeMarco, both of whom are set to release albums in early May.
