On this episode of "Be Unexpected" Jake and Wyatt interview Former Fremont High and Morningside Graduate Trevor Strong. Trevor is the current Defensive Coordinator for Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. 

Trevor shares his memories at Fremont High school growing up and how his passion for sports, specifically football led him to go on to play at Morningside College and have a great career. Listen as Trevor shares how Coach Ryan offered Trevor a scholarship, it definitely left Trevor nervous, but he is glad it worked out this way. Playing college football is a whole different ballgame and Trevor realized that very quick. Trevor put in a lot of work to see playing time at Morningside, and by his junior year it finally paid off. Now the Defensive Coordinator at Southwestern College, Trevor is extremely grateful for the journey and everyone that impacted him on the way. Trevor talks about Coach Ryan and how he has impacted his faith journey, coaching style, and the man he is today!

A 2014 graduate of Morningside College, Strong earned a degree in Business Administration.  He was a two-year starter and two-time all-Great Plains Athletic Conference selection.  He helped Morningside to three conference titles and an NAIA national runner-up finish in 2012.  In 2012, he was a member of the best defensive scoring squad in the nation.
