On this episode of Be Unexpected Jake and Wyatt interview Content Director for NxtPro Hoops John Heuer. John, Wyatt and Jake grew up playing High school basketball together at Fremont High. John fell in love with the game of basketball at a young age. When John began tagging along with his parents to his older siblings basketball games, his love for the game then grew. John moved to Fremont at the start of middle school were he became a part of a brotherhood when he joined the Trinity middle school basketball team. In 2015 John really started to get more involved in photography and never looked back! Five years later in 2020, John talks about how he got started making basketball mix tapes for players. It wasn’t an easy journey to where he is today with NxtPro, but he is grateful for the journey! From learning how to make mix tapes, to finding the right job fit for him that would drive his passion for basketball. John opens up about the adversity he is currently facing in his life with the passing of his dad and shared how he is clinging to Christ through it all. These last few months John has really

enjoyed traveling around the Midwest watching basketball and helping High school players make their teams come true. Wyatt, John, and Jake talk some NBA, from their all time favorite  players to KD going to the Suns and Kyrie Irving to the Mavericks trade
